Hozier makes history with “Too Sweet,” his first No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated April 27, 2024. Hozier is the first Irish act to reach No. 1 on the US singles chart since the late Sinéad O’Connor topped the Hot 100 with her cover of “Nothing Compares 2 U” during the same week in 1990, when Hozier was just over a month old. It’s also the first No. 1 single by an Irish male soloist since Gilbert O’Sullivan’s “Alone Again (Naturally)” over a half-century ago. Internationally, “Too Sweet” reached No. 1 in Canada, The UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, scoring Hozier his first No. 1 single in each territory.

The RIAA-Diamond certified artist kicked off the second North American leg of his extensive ‘Unreal Unearth’ tour on Saturday in Raleigh, NC where he debuted the live rendition of “Too Sweet” to an eruption from the sold-out crowd. With over 1.6M tickets sold across 2023-2024, Hozier will play a total of 59 headline shows throughout the US & Canada on this run, with prominent festival sets along the way including a headline performance at Lollapalooza in August. See full routing below.

On Friday, Hozier celebrated the fifth anniversary of his sophomore album by releasing a special edition of Wasteland, Baby!, which originally debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart upon release in 2019. Listen to the album now including two additional tracks, “Why Would You Be Loved” and “Be - Acoustic,” HERE.

Stay tuned for more from Hozier coming soon!
