CAROLINE POLACHEK RELEASES NEW TRACK “LOOK AT ME NOW” FROM FORTHCOMING ALBUM PANG

CAROLINE POLACHEK RELEASES NEW TRACK
LOOK AT ME NOW” FROM FORTHCOMING ALBUM PANG

PANG OUT OCTOBER 18
Today, Caroline Polachek has released new track “Look At Me Now” from her forthcoming solo album Pang. This is the last track that Caroline will release before Pang releases on October 18th. “Look At Me Now” follows the release of key tracks “Door,” “Parachute,” “Ocean of Tears,” and “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings.” Listen here and watch the lyric booklet here.

Says Caroline, “‘Look At Me Now’ is the 'diary entry' of the album. I wrote it last year while processing a mix of guilt, self-destructiveness, and hope. I've never really worked with acoustic guitar before, and in ‘Look At Me Now’ it's an umbilical connection to the Lilith-Fair-era artists I grew up listening to, like Jewel and Sarah McLaughlan, who's wistfully adult lyrics I pretended to understand at the time and now do.”

Caroline will celebrate the release of Pang with live performances in select US and European cities, starting October 24th. For tickets and more information, please visit her website.

Pang Tracklist:
  1. The Gate

Vagabon shares "Every Woman" video, new album out this Friday via Nonesuch Records

VAGABON SHARES "EVERY WOMAN" VIDEO

VAGABON OUT OCTOBER 18TH VIA NONESUCH RECORDS

FULL US TOUR WITH ANGEL OLSEN KICKS OF THIS MONTH
.
Photo Credit: Tonje Thilesen (download hi-res)

Vagabon (aka Lætitia Tamko) has released a video for "Every Woman," directed by Lino Asana and filmed on location in Mendocino County, California. "Every Woman" is the newest single from Vagabon's self-titled sophomore album, due October 18 via Nonesuch Records and available for pre-order now. Nonesuch Store pre-orders include an exclusive print autographed by Tamko.

Of the video, Tamko says "'Every Woman' is the thesis of my album so I wanted the visuals to represent transparency and to create a world for this thesis statement to live inside of. It's an ode to all those who feel different and who actively search and fight for space. When I was approached by Cameroonian filmmaker, Lino Asana, I was really, really excited to work with an artist from my country. There was this immediate understanding of one another. So many scenes of this video feel reminiscent of my early life in Cameroon, the chores I would do as a kid, the way we lived simply and humbly. The bubble displayed in this video represents an invitation to find yourself in this world."

Vagabon is hitting the road this fall on a tour that includes headlining shows in New York, London, Brussels, Berlin, and Paris and a full US run supporting Angel Olsen. All dates below.
