Last night, Tame Impala appeared on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest with Sandra Oh hosting. The band performed the recently released "Patience," as well as a new song "Borderline." The release of "Patience" marked their first new music since his GRAMMY nominated, RIAA Gold-Certified 2015 release, Currents. Parker will headline this year's Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival. Watch "Patience" here:

Early praise for "Patience"

"Pounding major-seventh piano chords like Todd Rundgren, using conga drums to punch up and punctuate synthesizer arpeggios, and hinting at Michael Jackson in his melodies, he comes to the realization that he’s “growing up in stages/living life in phases.” It’s an honest part of a long-term evolution." - The New York Times

""Patience" kicks off with a languorous bit of piano-house, synth lines imported straight from '80s Italy, a congo roll — perhaps the ones pictured on the album art — and, of course, glimmers of starry-eyed psychedelics. It's immediately infectious. Parker asks, almost coyly, "Has it been that long? Did I count the days wrong?" Yes, Kevin, it's been a while — but when the pay-off is this luxurious, who's counting?" - NPR

"“Patience” takes the sleek studio advances of Currents and leapfrogs further: If that album was where Kevin Parker went from a heady bedroom artist to the kind of songwriter and producer who shows up on a Rihanna album, then “Patience” shows him fully comfortable in his expanded horizons, reaching even further toward the stars."
- Rolling Stone
In addition to Coachella, Tame Impala will headline Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, GA (May 5), Corona Capital (May 11), Boston Calling (May 25) and Barcelona's Primavera Festival (May 31), Glastonbury (June 26), Lollapalooza (August 01) and more with festival and headline dates planned throughout 2019. Full tour dates below.

Tame Impala is Kevin Parker. His last album Currents (Interscope) was released in 2015 earning him a second GRAMMY nomination, RIAA Gold-certification and word-wide critical acclaim. The New York Times labeled it a "a tour de force" and Pitchfork said, "nearly every proper song on 'Currents' is a revelatory statement of Parker's range and increasing expertise as a producer, arranger, songwriter, and vocalist while maintaining the essence of Tame Impala." NPR noted, "[Parker] advocates for constant reinvention... That commitment to evolution helps make Tame Impala an unlikely but worthy candidate for major stardom."

Hailing from Perth, Australia, he first toured the U.S. in 2010, playing small clubs for crowds of 200. A handful of trips to the U.S. later and thanks to the ravenous demand of fans for a transcendent live performance, Tame Impala has gone on to headline festivals and theaters around the world and released three full length albums - InnerspeakerLonerism and Currents. As a writer and producer Parker has collaborated with Travis Scott, SZA, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Kanye West, Kali Uchis, Theophilus London, Miguel, A$AP Rocky and more.

Darkroom/Interscope Records artist Billie Eilish has released her highly anticipated debut album, accompanied with a brand new music video for her latest single ‘bad guy,’ out today.

WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? Is out now on all platforms worldwide and features global smashes “bury a friend,” “you should see me in a crown,” when the party’s over,” and “wish you were gay,” plus 10 previously unheard tracks including Billie’s latest single “bad guy,” which comes with an official video, directed by MTV VMA-winner (Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Humble’) Dave Meyers.

Watch the official video for “bad guy” HERE.

Yesterday, Billie Eilish made her Jimmy Kimmel Live! debut and performed “bury a friend” in-front of a live audience [Watch HERE]. On Monday, April 1 she will be a talking guest performing live on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (check your local listings).

This weekend, in partnership with Spotify, and curated entirely by the 17-year-old artist, The Billie Eilish Experience boasts a fully immersive, highly visceral “enhanced album experience.” The labyrinth of rooms hosted at The Stalls at Skylight Row in Downtown Los Angeles will converge art, technology and the unexpected, creating a cerebral storytelling experience that is authentically Billie Eilish. Listen to the Billie Eilish Experience Playlist on Spotify HERE.

In other news, Billie Eilish shattered Apple Music’s record, amassing more than 800,000 Pre-Adds on the album. Listen to the album on Apple Music HERE.

WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? comprises of fourteen tracks that materialize as ghostly genre-less pop projections of life’s firsts for the multi-platinum songstress as she ruminates on her first brushes with loss and love amidst the monsters under her bed and the triumphs at her feet.

“Nobody knows what the fuck dreams are, dude,” she exclaims. “You can’t give me a good enough answer as to what dreams are. Nobody can. Dreams are a big thing in my life though. They’ve always really occupied me. It’s all in the music.” One daydream manifested to set the stage for such provocation. Within three years since her 2015 debut, Billie quietly, yet unapologetically infiltrated the forefront of pop. Along the way, she and her chief collaborator, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and big brother Finneas O’Connell crafted what would become WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO? Keeping the creativity in-house, literally, they retreated back to Billie’s childhood home. Once again, they worked in Finneas’ bedroom—two feet from Billie’s room—where the songs not only came to life, but also all of the dreams. “There were a lot of opportunities and things I said, ‘No to,” she grins. “We had to do this album our way. I realized how lucky I am to have my brother in this. If I didn’t have him, I would have to figure out what the hell I was doing without someone else there with me!

"I want people to listen,” she leaves off. “I want to be heard, and I want people to feel heard. Nothing on this album sounds the same, but it all adds up to a whole. Since I first started doing music, my life has changed a lot. One thing that hasn’t changed in my music is that I still just do me.

WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? is out everywhere now.

Lost Under Heaven Share Chris Liebing Remix Of "The Breath Of Light"; New Album Out Now

LOST UNDER HEAVEN SHARE CHRIS LIEBING REMIX OF
“THE BREATH OF LIGHT”

NEW ALBUM LOVE HATES WHAT YOU BECOME
OUT NOW
Photo: Florian Joahn (hi-res)
“Love Hates What You Become rattles with perfect intensity.” – Pitchfork

“…an intense, transcendent second album…a powerful emotional punch.” – Q

"…widescreen, cinematic scope…a towering statue of glittering noise." – Stereogum

“…enthralling…music for the here and now…” – DIY

"...Roberts can craft an epic at will and these songs all go for broke, making LUH’s ambition
their greatest asset." – UPROXX
Following the recent release of their critically lauded second studio album, Lost Under Heaven today share a raw and emotional new remix of “The Breath of Light” courtesy of electronic luminary Chris Liebing. Liebing’s simmering instrumentals set a heavy backdrop that allows Ellery James Roberts and Ebony Hoorn’s fervent vocals to shine through like beams of sunlight as a storm subsides. Listen to the remix now at Magnetic.

“The Breath of Light” is taken from Lost Under Heaven’s second studio album, Love Hates What You Become, which was released January 18 on Mute. Shot full of incisive social commentary, this record captures the couple at their most musically visceral. Stream and purchase the album here.

In reference to this fresh take on “The Breath of Light,” Roberts says, “We have been appreciative of Chris Liebing’s work for the past years so it is a real honour to hear his take on ‘The Breath of Light.’The song is an immensely personal reflection on a Near Death Experience: a young boy drowning in the wild waves of the Celtic Sea. The experience becomes a foundational metaphor to fearlessly face and overcome the hardships of downpression be they internal or external.”

Liebing – whose latest album, Burn Slow, was released by Mute on September 7, 2018 – reflected on the newest remix in his Burn Slow series by stating, "When I first heard the album Spiritual Songs For Lovers To Sing by Lost Under Heaven, I was blown away by it. When the news came that their new album was about to drop, I could not resist asking if I could have a go on a remix. I picked “Breath of Light” as I felt I could stay quite close to the amazing vibe of the original yet give it a “Burn Slow” style treatment. Thanks guys for letting me do that!"

Molly Tuttle's new album available via NPR's First Listen now

NEW MOLLY TUTTLE ALBUM AVAILABLE NOW
VIA NPR FIRST LISTEN

WHEN YOU'RE READY OUT APRIL 5

TOUR BEGINS APRIL 3 IN NASHVILLE

"On When You're Ready, Tuttle applies remarkable precision to her pursuit of clarity. That's even a central theme of her lyrics: consciously reckoning with indecision or intuition, honestly acknowledging incompatibility, cultivating intimacy based on people seeing each other for who they are. With handsomely crafted melodies that gently insinuate themselves into the memory..."

"Tuttle effortlessly delivers a mélange of styles to accompany her powerful guitar licks throughout."

"...she has a tremendous sensitivity for the music and there's something about her spirit, it has a gentleness and strength in it..."

"The person that I'm interested in is what Molly Tuttle is doing. I think she has a tremendous sensitivity for the music and there's something about her spirit, it has a gentleness and strength in it. I like her vibe and her musicality. I performed with her and got to hear her perform at the IBMAs in Raleigh just last month. She did my favorite thing of the night. She did a version of "Rain And Snow" that was really lovely."
Gillian Welch

Award-winning songwriter-guitarist Molly Tuttle's debut album, WHEN YOU'RE READY, can now be heard in its entirety via  NPR's First ListenAlready crowned 'Instrumentalist of the Year' at the 2018 Americana Music Awards on the strength of her debut EP, Tuttle has broken boundaries and garnered the respect of her peers, winning fans for her incredible flatpicking guitar technique and confessional songwriting. Graced with a clear, true voice and a keen melodic sense, the native Californian seems poised for a long and exciting career. WHEN YOU'RE READY was recorded in Nashville with producer Ryan Hewitt (The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers) and showcases her astonishing range and versatility and shows that she is more than simply an Americana artist.

"I love so many types of music," Tuttle says, "and it's exciting to be a part of and embraced by different musical worlds, but when I'm creating I don't think about genres or how it will fit into any particular format - it's just music."

When You're Ready was heralded earlier in the year by the powerful first track, "Take The Journey," which was premiered via Rolling Stone CountryAmerican Songwriter then premiered the album's second song, "Million Miles" via an animated video. Drama
is a dark and passionate musical collaboration between Na'el Shehade and Via Rosa. The Chicago-based duo are each established artists in their own right. She as a solo vocalist and member of the THEMpeople collective, he as a producer and engineer having collaborated with artists such as Chance the Rapper on his breakout mixtape "Acid Rap" and Kanye West's GOOD Music on the Cruel Summer compilation, the latter debuting at number two on the US Billboard 200.Drama's moody sound has been described as soulful electronic combining influences of house music, indie, neo-soul, pop and R&B. Their melancholy lyrics are a reflection of their own personal experiences relating to love and heartbreak. Together they make what they love to call "Happy-Sad Music."
Harriet Brown — formerly of San Francisco, now based in Los Angeles — makes poppy R&B music with experimental electronic undercurrents. His new album Mall Of Fortune is coming early next year on Innovative Leisure, and its latest advance single is a good one. “Man” is an easygoing soul track, like what Marvin Gaye might have recorded if he’d lived into the era of trunk-throttling drum programming. He's gaining tons of buzz these days, don't miss this!
