Third Man Records & CREEM are excited to announce a two-day unofficial showcase during this year's SXSW in Austin, TX. Taking place on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15 from 11am-6:30pm at 13th Floor (711 Red River St.), the blowout will feature performances from The Spits, Pylon Reenactment Society, Snõõper, Ho99o9, Omni, Being Dead, Glixen and more. More artists will be announced soon. The 21+ only show is free with RSVP at creem.com/sxsw. See below for the full lineup. The shows will coincide with the launch of CREEM’s “No New York, No L.A.” Spring issue out March 15. A celebration of the bands, music writers, and music scenes outside of those podunk towns. The issue features Wayne Kramer’s final interview, DEVO, Scowl, Danny Brown, Cat Power, Cruelster, photo reports from Nebraska and the D.C. punk scene, and more. All event RSVPs get 20% off a year of CREEM, and the first 50 people in the door each day get a copy of CREEM’s Spring 2024 issue.
