JAMES SUPERCAVE today (5/30) have released the official music video for "Something To Lose," the band's first single since 2016. While retaining the band's signature pysch-pop aesthetics and alternative musical sensibilities,"Something To Lose" evolves the band's sonic sound in a neo-soul direction. The captivating video, directed by Kevin Clark, is an ode to all forms of love and can be seen here.

Ken Scrudato of BlackBook.com, which premiered the video yesterday, noted that it's "...vividly filmed, unashamedly romantic..." adding, "musically, the track is a hook-laden paradigm of nu-disco-soul, with sonically kalediscopic touches."(May 29, 2018)

"The song is a celebration of intimacy," says the band's Joaquin Pastor. "It's a love song in a way but it skips the pining, the yearning, the heartache and gets straight to the celebrating. It's about those rare people that make you feel alive."

JAMES SUPERCAVE--PastorPatrick LogothettiAndrés Villalobos andCollin Desha--are on track to release an EP later this year (details TBA).
