Lucius will perform at the Newport Folk Festival on Friday, July 27. Lucius' dazzling vocal harmonists Holly Proctor and Jess Wolf have grown into veritable festival favorites, appearing for the past 5 years at Newport Folk, both as Lucius and as special guests with the likes of My Morning Jacket, Roger Waters, John Prine, Mavis Staples, Shovels & Rope. Lucius are also included on the Record Store Day (April 21) vinyl release of SPEAK OUT, delivering a powerful rendition of the Five Stairsteps classic "Ooh Child" with the Berklee Gospel Choir. Proceeds from the album, recorded at the 2017 Newport Folk Festival, will support the music education initiatives of Newport Festivals Foundation.
Lucius released an LP of acoustic tracks, NUDES, on March 2nd via Mom + Pop. The album features sit-ins from Wilco's Nels Cline (on "Million Dollar Secret") and Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters (on "Goodnight, Irene"). The corresponding, completely sold out acoustic tour, wrapped yesterday at Big Ears festival in Knoxville, TN. The band appeared this past weekend on CBS THIS MORNING where they performed 3 songs from their recently released acoustic album NUDES and talked with Anthony Mason before their show at New York's Town Hall. Jess and Holly rejoin Roger Waters for his European leg of the Us and Them tour next month in Barcelona.
The second leg of the acoustic NUDES tour continues this September with shows in Europe, Seattle, Texas and Austin, before Lucius joins Portugal. The Man for dates in Richmond and New York City. All dates below.

Lucius is comprised of Jess, Holly, Dan Molad and Peter Lalish. They have drawn acclaim for powerful songs showcasing taut hooks, along with their mesmerizing stage presence and bold visual aesthetics. The band have sold out shows, headlined theaters throughout the US and Europe and collaborated with a variety of musicians including The War On Drugs, John Legend, Roger Waters, Mavis Staples, Jeff Tweedy, Nathaniel Rateliff, Lukas Nelson and David Byrne.
