Stream/Share "Plimsoll Punks" Alvvays will drop their highly anticipated sophomore album in under a month and the Toronto-based group are giving us another taste of new music with the infectious "Plimsoll Punks." The song is the band's answer to Television Personalities' 'Part-Time Punks' and a winking surf opus indictment of the self-righteous who intend to condescend.  The previously released tracks "In Undertow" and "Dreams Tonite" show a band on the brink of releasing their best material yet, Pitchfork notes on "Dreams Tonite" that the "new sound nods to the Chromatics and Beach House, touching upon their moody temperament while fleshing out their emotional explorations." Rolling Stonepraised "In Undertow" in their Playlist section writing "Canadian guitar romantics Alvvays mix pleasant noises and chill dejection, and the result is a perfect indie-rock lullaby." Alvvays will be touring the world extensively in support of Antisocialites this fall playing shows with Jay Som and Nap Eyes.
