  July 4, City of Costa Mesa's Free Community July 4 Party 

Free food, fun and pyrotechnics will help Orange County celebrate Independence Day. Bounce houses, live music and activities for all. Heroes Hall veterans museum will be open 3-5 p.m. - stop by and honor those who fought for our freedom. Centennial Farm will also be open. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Hours: 3-9:30 p.m.; pyrotechnics show at 9 p.m.
Admission: Free; parking $8 after 5 p.m.

♦ July 4, Pacific Symphony's Symphonic Springsteen 
Celebrate the Fourth with this high-energy tribute to “The Boss.” No July 4th evening is complete without the holiday traditions of a salute to the U.S. Armed Forces and patriotic favorites, before closing with a brilliant fireworks finale.

 July 8, Steel Pulse / The Wailers / Fortunate Youth

Grammy Award-winning Steel Pulse has been offering reggae fans solid music of love and justice for more than 35 years with songs like “Your House,” “Rollerskates” and “Steppin’ Out.”
The Wailers are a legendary Jamaican band that performed with Bob Marley. The band is best known for hits like “One Love,” “Stir It Up” and “Soul Rebel.”
Fortunate Youth spreads an inspirational message of peace, love and unity through reggae music.

Steel Pulse is joined by Common Kings whose style and music is a collection of inspirations orchestrated into an array of head-rocking beats, feel-good vibes and emotional fever. 
The Simpkin Project plays a multi-faceted blend of reggae and Americana.

Dashboard Confessional burst onto the emo scene in 2001 and reached No.2 on the Billboard charts with their third album, "A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar."
The All-American Rejects are known for their hits “Swing, Swing,” “Dirty Little Secret” and “Gives You Hell.”

The 2017 OC Fair will feature 23 days and nights of entertainment, food, rides, shopping, exhibits, animals and headline performances in the Pacific Amphitheatre, nightly music in The Hangar and adrenaline-inducing events in the Action Sports Arena.
