LIVE AT COACHELLA ft Nile Marr

"A packed, totally enthralled crowd flooding the outdoor stage. Thundering drums, ethereal vocals, a surprise Pharrell Williams cameo. A
triumphant turn from an EDM superstar? Nope. Just film composer Hans Zimmer absolutely devastating a Coachella crowd that had no idea what it
was in for." - THE LOS ANGELES TIMES

"Hans Zimmer is the new (Lion) King of the festival circuit." - YAHOO! MUSIC

"Zimmer oozes energy from every position he takes onstage, oscillating between instruments with shocking seamlessness, never glancing at a single sheet of music, and betraying himself as a kinetic and passionate musician with a knack for storytelling." - ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY

INDIO, CA (April 18, 2017) - Grammy, Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer took Coachella by storm on Sunday evening, dazzling a crowd of tens of thousands of fans and trending on Twitter. The appearance by Zimmer, who will be touring the U.S., Australia, and Europe this summer, was a first of its kind for the popular music festival with the legendary composer bringing a full orchestra with him to the desert venue.

Zimmer's set featured music spanning his multi-decade career including music from THE LION KING, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, THE DARK KNIGHT and INCEPTION. The famed composer, whose concerts are famous for their special guests, was also joined on stage by his frequent collaborator Pharrell Williams to perform Williams' hit song "Freedom".

Audience members at the festival and those watching Zimmer's show stream online took to social media to praise the set for standing out as a highlight of the weekend and for the epic nature of the performances.

"I am overwhelmed by the response to our Coachella performance this past weekend," stated Zimmer. "It was certainly nerve inducing to perform at a festival of this level with so many amazing artists who are household names, but the crowd who came to our set was unlike anything I have experienced with an orchestral performance before. I can't wait to see the rest of the crowds this summer on tour."

Music fans can catch him on the summer leg of his US concert experience 'Hans Zimmer Live on Tour 2017.   Kicking off in Dallas, TX at the Verizon Theater on July 13th, Zimmer's summer tour will visit 18 cities including two nights at Radio City Music Hall in New York on July 25th and 26th and will conclude at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, CA on Aug. 12th. Tickets are on sale now.

The summer tour will follow Zimmer's three previously announced dates on the west coast including the recent show at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on April 14thand the upcoming Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on April 19th and The Park Theater in Las Vegas on April 21st. Zimmer will return to Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on August 11th.

'Hans Zimmer Live on Tour 2017' is a multi-layered experience for concertgoers and a must-see concert event, featuring career-spanning music from Zimmer's multi-decade career.  The European version of the tour, 'Hans Zimmer Revealed', kicked off earlier this year with a sold-out two-night run at London's Wembley Arena before embarking on a 33-city run that included shows in major European cities including London, Paris, Munich, Prague, Geneva, Dublin and Vienna to name just a few.  The tour received rave reviews in every city.

The concert will be in two parts: the first being some of Zimmer's classic movie scores including GLADIATOR, THE LION KING and PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, and the second featuring re-imagined versions of some classic scores such as THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY and INCEPTION with special guests from the rock and pop world.
