Today, Empire Of The Sun announced a series of U.S. headline dates, which include an April 19 concert at the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles and a May 10 show at Terminal 5 in New York City. Special guests The Avalanches and Broods will open on select dates. Tickets will go on sale February 10 for all shows except Los Angeles, which will be available beginning February 17.  Empire Of The Sun will also return to Coachella this year, performing on April 14 and 21. See below for itinerary.
Rolling Stone hailed the alt-electro pioneers' 2014 Coachella performance as one of the  "50 Best Things We Saw at Coachella." The Los Angeles Times said, "Empire Of The Sun delivered a high-octane performance that stands out...by virtue of its theatricality, pomp and circumstance. Empire Of The Sun brought an unusual level of showmanship to the Sahara Tent with a troupe of synchronized dancers decked out in feathered costumes, glow-in-the-dark instruments and an eye-popping laser light show."
Empire Of The Sun is touring in support of its new album, Two Vines, which is now available everywhere, including iTunesSpotify and Amazon. It debuted at No. 1 onBillboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and in the Top 10 of the Alternative Albums chart.
Fans can view Empire Of The Sun performing the lead single, "High And Low,"live at the historic Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood in a new video, which can be seenHEREStereogum praised the track as a "slow-building slice of euphoria with big drums, grand synths, and swishing ambient sweeps." It became a Top 15 hit at Alternative radio and has more than 15 million streams on Spotify.
Recorded in Hawaii and Los Angeles, Two Vines was co-produced by Empire Of The Sun and Peter Mayes (Sia, The Killers, Mika),alongside long-term collaborator,Donnie Sloan (Midnight To Monaco). Pianist/arranger Henry Hey and bassist Tim Lefebvre, from David Bowie's Blackstar band, feature heavily on the album. Other collaborators include Wendy Melvoin from Prince's Revolution and Fleetwood Macguitarist/vocalist Lindsey Buckingham.

Entertainment Weekly observed, "One thing's for sure: no matter what style they're performing, Empire of the Sun knows how to make people move, and their third studio set,Two Vines, is no exception. With glistening pop tracks like 'High and Low' and 'Way to Go,' the pair hasn't strayed far from the ethereal, echoey sound of singles that launched them to international success in the first place, like 'Walking on a Dream' and 'Alive." DIY Magazinesaid, "the band continues to make glossy retro-futurist pop, creating a world of synthesizers and keyboards that feels both primeval and modern at once." AllMusic hailed it as "impressive," praising the band's "mastery of modern pop sounds [and] ability to craft melodies that have a timeless quality."
Manny Marroquin's new remix of "Walking On A Dream" closes out Two Vines."Walking On A Dream"originally appeared on the band's 2008 debut album of the same name. In early 2016, the eight-year-old single rocketed to the top of the radio and Shazam charts after it was heard in Honda's "The Dreamer" commercial. The spot now ranks as the most Shazamed U.S. television commercial ever. With more than 125 million streams,"Walking On A Dream" became a global smash hit. Views of the official video now exceed 55 million.
