FKA TWIGS ANNOUNCES THIRD NIGHT OF ‘CONGREGATA’ SHOWS IN NYC

Fresh off two stunning performances at Coachella, FKA twigs will return to the stage this May to debut her show ‘Congregata’ stateside for now three nights. ‘Congregata’ is a live performance including eight dancers, an array of dance choreography, costumes by Alexander McQueen and music from her critically acclaimed releases EP1, EP2, and LP1. The Los Angeles Times recently pronounced that, “there may not be another artist with such a total vision of her own musical, visual and physical aesthetic onstage and on record.” From May 17-19, FKA twigswill take over the Brooklyn Hanger in Sunset Park as part of the Red Bull Music Academy Festival in New York with three performances of ‘Congregata,’ her live production that debuted in London back in February. FKA twigs recently premiered a brand new song and video. “Glass & Patron” was written and produced by FKA twigs and Boots and features a new video that was directed and choreographed by her as part of the 2015 YouTube Music Awards. Watch “Glass & Patron” video: https://youtu.be/cNbFc-fa-ww
In addition to ‘Congregata,’ FKA twigs will play a series of festival shows including Primavera Porto, Field Day, Sonar, Parklife, and Lollapalooz. July will also see FKA twigs take up residency at theManchester International Festival. Over seven days, FKA twigs and collaborators will create seven short films in front of live audiences who’ll be invited into the studio to encounter and observe the process as it unfolds.
