Kacy Hill has been busy planting and growing and is finally ready to invite the world into her garden to reap what she’s sewn. Today, the effervescently charming singer-songwriter announces her fourth studio album BUG, out May 3rd via Nettwerk. Along with the announcement of her new album comes the news of a North American summer headlining tour and a vibrant new singleYou Know I Love You Still, “ a blossoming Americana-pop track that blends Hill’s lyrical revelations with boundless acoustic guitar made for sunset drives on open terrain. Hill shares, "'You Know I Love You Still' is a love song to music. I’ve spent a number of years in this industry now and in my most vulnerable moments, I wish I could just let it go and move away and start a new, simpler life. But I also know that wherever I go, it will follow me. I can try to start new, but I will always come back to it one way or another.” Listen to “You Know I Love You Still” HERE, watch the visual HERE & pre-save the album HERE.

Filled with confessional ruminations, nectarous vocals, and instrumentals wafting through desert air, BUG is a work of sterling grandeur that presents Hill weaving a tapestry of earthy folk, dream-pop, and spacious Americana — orbiting between the themes of angst and the clarity of confidence patiently waiting on the other side of it. Presenting life’s ups, downs, and in-betweens as moments of honesty trapped in sonic amber, with splendorous Americana-influenced pop moments like “You Know I Love You Still,” honeyed confessions of love’s impasses on “Listen To You” and “Frog Rinse,” and sprawling moments of observation on humanity with “No One” (all co-produced by Bartees Strange), Hill dips her spoon into life’s honey jar and licks it clean. The album features additional production from Sega Bodega and Jim-E Stack, as well as features from Nourished By Time and Donna Missal. Hill shares, “BUG was made over the course of two years and became an outlet to say what I had been silently feeling in my relationship and life as a whole. Making this album marked a distinct change in my mindset as I shifted away from specific expectations, and instead focused on the curiosity and joy I felt while making music.”

Aside from early nods on the new music by icons like Lana Del Rey and Lorde, Hill’s new era of music has already been highlighted by Rolling StonePitchfork SelectsCOLORSPerfectly Imperfect, and Nylon as one of 2024 Most Anticipated Albums. Being her fourth record, adding to Hill’s immaculate discography of 2017’s Like a Woman, 2020’s Is It Selfish If We Talk About Me Again, and 2021’s Simple, Sweet, and SmilingBUG marks a rebirth of sorts for Hill as she emerges from a new sonic cocoon. Having toured with ColdplayConan Grey, and Suki Waterhouse and collaborated with industry giants Bon Iver, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, and Helado Negro, Hill uses all these influences to blossom into this new era in a garden of possibilities of stardom.

Hill heads out on tour this summer, kicking off the live run in Washington DC on May 29th, hitting New YorkChicagoLos AngelesSan Francisco and more - full list of dates below. Tickets on sale today at 10AM local time at kacyhill.com
