Performing amid a constantly shifting latticework of lights and mirrors, the duo delivered a career-spanning set that leaned heavily into their forthcoming new album Hyperdrama (out April 26th via Ed Banger/Because Music), featuring the premiere of several previously unheard songs, including album opener “Neverender.” Knowing that not all of their fans were able to tune into the festival’s live stream, the duo have shared a video of their debut performance of “One Night/All Night,” a song that has emerged as a fixture at both streaming and radio as anticipation for Hyperdrama builds to a fever pitch. The performance is just the start of a massive run of international tour dates, marking the band’s first major live performances since the conclusion of the Woman World Wide tour in 2018 (which also yielded the live album Woman World Wide, earning them a Grammy for Best Electronic Album in 2019). As with the album, anticipation for the duo’s return to the live arena has been ferocious, easily selling out two New York City shows as well as Paris’s huge Accor Arena.
