Sharing its name with a character from Irish literary classic The Third Policeman, “De Selby (Parts 1 & 2)” open the album. In speaking about today’s release, Hozier says: “This song reflects on darkness and night falling. It aligned with the thinking of the character of De Selby. When you can’t see where your hands and the darkness end, they literally become one and the same. Part 2 is something of a descent. We are lost together in this moment with no beginning and no end. The track explores this theme over a disco track, hope you enjoy!”   Following a surprise set at Glastonbury last month, Hozier is currently wrapping the first leg of his European and UK tour with sold-out shows in London, Reading, Manchester, and Belfast. He will bring his massive international ‘Unreal Unearth Tour’ to North America this fall beginning September 9 in St. Louis, MO.
