“Instantly addictive… The Last Dinner Party have done it again” ***** - DIY Magazine Today, The Last Dinner Party share their new single, “Big Dog,” a long-time staple of their live set and a fan favorite. Co-produced (the band’s first production credit) alongside Animesh Raval, “Big Dog” is a dark, forceful and almost PJ Harvey shaped three minutes of leftfield art-pop. A spoken word piece, “Come All You Beasts”, that the band regularly recite before performing the track live is also shared today. Georgia Davies of the band shares, "‘Come All You Beasts’ was written as a way to introduce the folkloric and storytelling elements of From the Pyre to “Big Dog”. The themes of the song were interpolated with Bible verses, subverting prescriptive messages about women’s safety. We have always been inspired by poetry and performance in all forms, so spoken word with improvisational accompaniment felt like a natural extension of our art." Listen to “Big Dog” here and watch the music video here. The Last Dinner Party recently confirmed additional dates supporting Olivia Rodrigo in Los Angeles and Brooklyn. Due to demand the residency has expanded to ten dates opening for Rodrigo at Los Angeles’s Intuit Dome in January 2027 and ten shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in February. Abigail Morris of the band shares, “"When Olivia asked us to open for her on this very special residency we were honoured and thrilled beyond words. Previously opening for her at Hyde Park in 2025 showed us not only that she is one of the most captivating and talented rock stars today, but that she has cultivated such a beautiful fanbase and we can’t wait to play for them again over these dates in LA and New York!” Additionally, the band will support Sombr on 14 dates of his US tour. Tickets for all these dates (full list below) are on sale now here.
The second leg of the band’s 31-date tour of the US and Canada, with dates in cities including Vancouver, Los Angeles, Detroit, Nashville, Atlanta, and more (full dates below) will kick off on May 19th. Rolling Stone hailed the tour for it’s “feminine rage and rock & roll grandeur” and ran a photo gallery from the band’s Brooklyn Paramount show. Tickets for all dates are on sale here.
Recently the band sat with CBS This Morning’s Anthony Mason for an all-encompassing interview ahead of their US tour. The London five-piece discuss their upbringing, influences, and meteoric rise. Watch the full interview here.
The Last Dinner Party’s second studio album From the Pyre is out now via Island Records. For the album, the band headed into the studio early 2025 with Grammy Award winning producer Markus Dravs (Wolf Alice, Florence & The Machine, Bjork) to start work on the follow-up to their number 1 debut album, 2023’s Prelude to Ecstasy. From The Pyre is the sound of a band having a lot of fun rather than feeling any innate pressure to follow-up on what was an explosively successful debut record. It’s also the sound of a young band developing and maturing their songwriting together, as tight a unit as the endless months out on the road pay testament to. From the Pyre is available on all formats here. With two BRIT Awards to their name (including Breakthrough Artist earlier this year), and having sold out virtually every show they played right across the globe (including three sold-out hometown shows at London’s Eventim Apollo), The Last Dinner Party’s arrival and subsequent worldwide success was one of the most thrilling introductions to a new British band in decades, and From The Pyre’s opening introduction suggests that unparalleled success story shows no signs of relenting. 2026 North American Headline Tour May 16- Salt Lake City, UT – Kilby Block Party May 19 - Vancouver, BC – Orpheum^ May 20 - Portland, OR - Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall^ May 22 - Seattle, WA - Showbox SoDo^ May 23 - Seattle, WA - Showbox SoDo^ May 26 - Sacramento, CA - Channel 24^ May 27 - Oakland, CA - Fox Theater^ May 29 - Los Angeles, CA – The Orpheum^ May 31 - Del Mar, CA - The Sound^ June 02 - Denver, CO - Mission Ballroom^ June 04 - Des Moines, IA - Val Air Ballroom^ June 05 - Saint Paul, MN - Palace Theatre^ June 07 - Detroit, MI - Masonic Jack White Theatre^ June 09 - Columbus, OH - KEMBA Live!^ June 10 - Nashville, TN - The Pinnacle^ June 12 - Charlotte, NC - The Fillmore Charlotte^ June 13 - Atlanta, GA - The Eastern^ October 16– Paycom Center, Oklahoma City, OK * October 17– Toyota Center, Houston, TX * October 18– American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX * October 20– Moody Center, Austin, TX * October 22– State Farm Arena, Atlantia, GA * October 24– Amerant Bank Arena, Sunrise, FL * October 25– Kia Center, Orlando, FL * October 27– Spectrum Center, Charlotte, NC * October 28– Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, TN * October 30– Enterprise Center, St. Louis, MO * October 31– T-Mobile, Kansas City, MO * November 1– Target Center, Minneapolis, MN * November 3– Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee, WI * November 4– United Center, Chicago, IL * Jan 12 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Jan 13 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Jan 16 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Jan 17 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Jan 20 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Jan 21 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Jan 24 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Jan 25 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Jan 28 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Jan 29 - Los Angles, CA at Intuit Dome& Feb 11 - Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& Feb 12 - Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& Feb 15 - Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& Feb 16 - Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& Feb 19 - Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& Feb 20 - Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& Feb 23 - Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& Feb 24 - Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& Feb 27- Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& Feb 28- Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center& ^w/ Automatic * Supporting Sombr & supporting Olivia Rodrigo From The Pyre Tracklisting: Agnus Dei / Count The Ways / Second Best / This Is The Killer Speaking / Rifle / Woman Is A Tree / I Hold Your Anger / Sail Away / The Scythe / Inferno
