Cutting through internet posturing, the song tackles the real-world impact of violence and social decay. It’s out now alongside a one-take music video [Listen/Watch] and will appear on his upcoming album, EXPERIMENTAL RAP, out May 21. [Pre-Save Album]. EXPERIMENTAL RAP is a masterclass in left-field innovation, blending rap, punk, rock, industrial and gospel music with Peggy’s signature “no-rules” production style and sharp lyricism. JPEGMAFIA kicked off the rollout last week with ”babygirl,” a track that channeled modern chaos through a mix of rap and rock. As a visionary who writes, produces and mixes everything himself, he remains one of the most fearless and consistent innovators in the experimental scene. This fall, JPEGMAFIA will embark on The Experimental Rap Tour, a 20-date North American run with support from redveil and matt proxy, kicking off September 22 in Spokane, WA. Fans can expect the signature high-energy and intimately engaging live performances that have come to define his stage presence and captivate audiences at festivals including Coachella, Rolling Loud, Primavera Sound, Governors Ball and Lollapalooza. He also produced the acclaimed single “Fake Jeezy” featuring Maxo Kream and Denzel Curry.
