Radio Free Alice have also just announced that they will join Geese for their sold-out February tour of Australia, featuring stops at Sydney, Melbourne & Perth. More global performances will be announced soon.
When Radio Free Alice made their way over to the UK late in the summer of 2025, expectations were measured. The band had garnered a respectable following here through two well-received EPs and a tireless approach to touring underground venues since 2023. Nothing, however, could have prepared them for the reception that awaited their arrival this time around. One show sold out immediately. Then another. And another until the quartet had six sold-out headlines in London alone; each full to capacity with lively, crowd-surfing fans and one supporter with a Radio Free Alice tattoo emblazoned across his torso.
This caught the attention of Reading & Leeds Festival, who booked Radio Free Alice a few weeks ahead of their event to another immense turnout. Sold-out dates in the USA followed, which included three sold-out performances in New York City, a stop at The Lot Radio, and a set at Shaky Knees, before the band quickly announced the current flock of UK headlines, all of which promptly sold out.
The group will return to the UK and Europe next year for a string of festivals, including Tramlines Festival in Sheffield and Truck Festival, Abingdon, both just announced last week.
Recorded between Katis in Connecticut and Ali Chant [Dry Cleaning, Perfume Genius, Soccer Mommy] in Bristol & London, August’s Empty Words EP – Radio Free Alice’s third – saw the band reaching a larger audience than ever before; a galvanising moment for the snowballing fanbase accumulated through the band’s tenacious live schedule. Over its four tracks, Radio Free Alice excavate the lingering sensation that culture is slipping into an unhealthy, self-induced cycle of indulgent sentimentality without feeling. Lead single "Toyota Camry" received heavy rotation on BBC 6 Music, while DORK christened Empty Words EP “smart, stylish and already sounding like a future cult classic” in their 5-star review.
