LISTEN & SHARE: Peter Matthew Bauer - "Gold Paint for Blue Skies" Stream Today, Peter Matthew Bauer (founder of The Walkmen) released "Gold Paint for Blue Skies", a new single that follows a busy year including the earlier single "Doom" in October and the full length album Hyloxolos in November, the later a heavy rock and roll band project begun with Darkside’s Dave Harrington, Earth’s Dylan Carlson, Meatbodies’ Dylan Fujioka, and Trench's Otis Bauer.  Hyloxolos recently played an album release show at Zebulon in Los Angeles last week.  "Gold Paint for Blue Skies" features Bauer’s bandmate in the Walkmen Matt Barrick on drums and drum machines and Starcrawler’s Henri Cash on bass. It was mixed by Joey Oaxaca and mastered by Christopher Colbert.  ARTIST BIO:  Peter Matthew Bauer was born in Washington DC. A founder of New York art rock band The Walkmen, he released 6 full length albums as part of the band before his first solo LP Liberation! (Mexican Summer) in 2014.
