Atlanta, Georgia natives, CDSM (Celebrity Death Slot Machine) make music as unique and intriguing as their band name. Described as, "a freakout post-punk group" by Flood, and an "edgy genre-blending outfit" by Psychedelic Baby Mag, the boundary pushing psych-rockers are set to release new single, "Not Another Bleeder" on April 22nd ahead of their debut full length LP, Convertible Hearse, on May 23rd, 2025 via EXAG’ Records & Mothland.
“Not Another Bleeder” is a thrilling, three-and-a-half-minute ride packed with dangerously intoxicating synths and moody vocals, building toward a thrashing guitar break that cranks the intensity even higher. The single arrives with a wild music video featuring Beetlejuice-esque oversized suits, a fish-eye lens, and a quirky goat farm and barn setting—perfectly matching the song’s eccentric, unfiltered energy.
CDSM band member and co-director Ben Presley on the video, "The video concept for “Not Another Bleeder” was D.I.Y. at its finest. My partner Violet Martini took the lead, pushing the nineties fisheye feels to the limit. Drawing influences from Busta Rhymes’ “Gimme Some More” music video, we went for a Willy Wonka-style trip through a bad dream… and there’s goats! This summer, the band is bringing their explosive live energy overseas with a string of UK/EU tour dates, including a set at the Festival d'été de Québec.
