The Magician, the Belgian/Italian artist Stephen Fasano, announced the release of his first studio album, VOYAGE, on November 8th via his Potion Records imprint; the stunning collection is set to enchant fans and tastemakers alike with a career-defining milestone. Today, he’s releasing a new taste, “Knights of Heaven,” from the debut. The artist and producer already released “Melodic Avenue” ft Nampa and visualizer as well as “Never Alone” ft. Moroccan / Belgian singer-songwriter Alioth. The enchanting debut album marks a thrilling new chapter in The Magician’s already illustrious career.

With a solo career spanning 15 years, including multiple top ten hits and original remixes for artists such as Lykke Li, Clean Bandit, Years & Years, Tom Grennan and many more, the prodigal producer is finally set to unveil his first-ever studio album VOYAGE.
A labor of love, VOYAGE is a phenomenal 15-track journey that truly showcases his musical wizardry, crafted not for the dancefloor but rather an invitation to travel on earth and beyond through his sounds. The name VOYAGE is representative of travel that has been an integral part of his life for many years, the ways in which it enriches, recharges, and awakens the soul and the influence this has inevitably had on his sound. It is a simple yet evocative title that reflects the diversity of experiences that music can offer, whether that is a physical journey through the stars or an emotional journey through sounds and rhythms, The Magician seamlessly conjures an atmosphere conducive to discovery, exploration and escape.

Bringing a further immersive element to his body of work, The Magician has been working with prestigious multidisciplinary creative studio Werlen Meyer to create all artworks and animated visuals for his rich tapestry of tunes. With clients like Chanel, Diptyque, and Richard Mille, the team is highly regarded and selective about who they work with. Captivated by The Magician’s project, co-founder Gwenn Germain - the talented director and cartoonist who has previously worked with Wes Anderson – has taken on the design of all the accompanying visuals, bringing the songs’ themes to life.
A founding member of the iconic electropop act Aeroplane, Stephen Fasano first launched his solo career under The Magician moniker back in 2010. Just over a year later, the esteemed record producer shot to the spotlight with his 2011 remix of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers,” earning further acclaim for his 2014 remix of Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be” and single “Sunlight” feat. Years & Years, which saw him perform alongside the band at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Launching his Potion Records imprint that same year, the Belgian hitmaker has continued to enchant the world with a slew of undeniably groovy tunes working with the likes of A-Trak, Sebastien Tellier, AlunaGeorge, Zhu, and many more. For over a decade, his Magic Tape compilation series has seen him select his favorite sultry house and disco cuts, providing a magical mixtape for special moments throughout his career. From headlining festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Primavera Sound to commanding residencies at renowned clubs including Ushuaïa Ibiza, Printworks, Sound, and Elsewhere, The Magician’s ability to blend infectious beats with enchanting melodies, has dazzled dancefloors across the globe.
