PRAISE FOR TIFFANY

"An upbeat, contemporary-rock approach. ['I Like The Rain'] recalls the soaring choruses of Sleater-Kinney between its fully rocking verses."
FLOOD Magazine

"Fans of her early output, beware: ‘Shadows’ is a different beast altogether. But listen with fresh ears and you’ll rediscover Tiffany, born again, with a fresh sound that’s both bold and brilliant…"
Retro Pop - The Music Magazine

"More than 30 years after introducing herself to fans, Tiffany may now be revealing her most authentic side as an artist."
Billboard

Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now" made waves in 1987, hitting #1 for two weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. Fast forward to 2024, and Tiffany has reimagined the song with the help of the Disco Fries. After connecting online a few months ago, Disco Fries and Tiffany jumped in the studio for a recut of this classic, bringing today’s energy and slick sound design to a record that has stood the test of time. With a proper tech mix from Anjunabeats' own Bexxie, and a funk-inspired house mix from SiriusXM Globalization’s Kidd Spin, this package hits the nail on the head. Not one to be missed!

Danny Boselovic of Disco Fries remarks, "We’ve been loving the faster tempos in dance music the last few years. It’s come full circle back to where we started as bedroom producers in college. Once we heard Tiffany’s vocals in this high energy style we knew we were on to something.” Nick Ditri elaborates, “Working with Tiffany and her label Deko are legends. When you go into the creative process and everyone gets the vision and is down for the cause, it reflects in what you hear. Dipping our toes back into iconic 80s music is how we built our name and it’s awesome to be able to say… WE’RE BACK AT IT!”

Stay tuned for more from Tiffany coming in 2024.

Tiffany Bio:

The most fascinating artists have both darkness and light. No one understands that duality better than Tiffany. She’s the former teen icon with the scars of alifer. A multi-million-selling phenomenon whose outward success story belies bad romances and bum deals. A genre-blind singer/songwriter who writes starkly personal lyrics that make entire stadiums sing along.

Tiffany’s life can be measured in songs. Anyone with even a casual eye on pop culture will remember her breakout in the late-’80s, sparked by the transatlantic #1 smash, "I Think We’re Alone Now." But the fans who have made the journey with her since know that the best stuff came later, as the singer fought her way to the music she burned to record, from 1993’s restorative Dreams Never Die, through the pulsing electrobangers of 2005’s Dust Off And Dance, right up to 2018’s highly acclaimed Pieces Of Me“It’s an album highlighting an artist at the top of their game,” wrote Get Ready To Rock of the latter, “producing music from the heart.”

Born in Norwalk, California, on October 2nd, 1971 – and carrying a tune from the age of two–Tiffany barely remembers her life before the stage. She was a pageant girl, then a dancer, before, aged nine, she sang at a friend’s birthday party and the clocks stopped. “There I was, nine years old, and I sounded like a 30-year-old woman,” she recalls. “Not being in the music industry, my parents had no idea how to begin, but we just started there.”

Even in the Golden State, Tiffany’s home, life came with storm clouds. “My parents were lovely people, but there were issues with alcohol, a turmoil there,” she says. “You’d hear the crying at night, the screaming, the rows, and wonder if you’re even going to have a place to stay the next day.”

Through the chaos, music was her lifeline. In the early-’80s, all over San Diego, from the fairgrounds of Del Mar to the country music circuit, Tiffany was a livewire presence, singing out her heart and soaking up the wisdom of the greats whose orbit she now moved in. “From artists like Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard and George Jones, I learned to live out loud,” she reflects. “They woke up and that’s who they were. They lived their life through music.”

The passing decades would see Tiffany suffering her own body blows, from the painful court case in which she fought her parents for control of her career to the relationships that rose and fell in the public eye. “Sometimes,” she laughs darkly, “my girlfriends will make a joke and say, ‘You just date the same person over and over again...’”

All of our lives come with shadows. But with her latest studio album, Tiffany invites her fans to walk with her into the light. “These last few years, we’ve all been through a really hard time,” she considers. “People have been through divorces, lost jobs, family members, friends. I know I have. You have to carry on, but there’s a sadness and loneliness.

“That’s where music comes in,” she counters. “It bonds people. For me, it recharges my batteries, getting that validation, seeing those smiles, getting the fans to go on the next journey with me. Who knows where I’m going next? But I’m a lifer. There’s no plan B. I think I’m doing my best material now. I know myself more–and I’m singing the best I ever have...”

Disco Fries Bio:

American duo Disco Fries have become a staple in modern dance music by walking the sonic tightrope between mainstream and the club. From the dorm rooms at Berklee College of Music to the stage at EDC Las Vegas, Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic have not only blurred genres with their signature blown-out basslines and classically driven melodies but have remained best friends throughout the journey. From the moment Nick and Danny looked at a plate of “Disco Fries” and realized they had just discovered their brand, their music has been championed by some of the biggest names in dance: from artists like Kaskade, Diplo, Steve Aoki, and Hardwell to popular media outlets such as Billboard, MTV, Rolling Stone and Dancing Astronaut.

No matter how large the support list grew, one artist in particular would change the course for the Disco Fries. That happened in 2013 at Electric Zoo, when the dance music icon Tiesto debuted “Lose It”. From that moment forward, Tiesto forged a working relationship with Nick and Danny that lead to multiple works. The first being their collaboration, “iTrance”, which was quickly followed by the Disco Fries’ first release on Tiesto’s record label, Musical Freedom, dubbed “Philtrum”. After witnessing how influential Musical Freedom Records was for not only them, but for many producers looking for an outlet to release music, Nick and Danny sought to provide a similar space by starting their own imprint, Liftoff Recordings. Now, the label encompasses a radio show, hundreds releases, and more in an effort to nurture up-and-coming talent.

As years progressed, the duo’s discography saw massive growth with production and writing credits on Krewella’s "Live For The Night", tracks with Hardwell, Snoop Dogg & Girl Generation, and Tiësto’s fifth studio album, A Town Called Paradise. The latter of which featured the smash single, “Wasted”, which went on to become TIESTO’s first certified Platinum single in the United States. The Disco Fries saw not only success in the dance world, but got a true taste for what real crossover music would look like moving forward.

With a rich history cementing them as trail blazers within the dance crossover community, the duo looked to the future and brought their magic back. Their debut EP, Autonomous, was released on Liftoff Recording to great success, and featured the iconic Halogen Mix of “Born Ready” ft. Hope Murphy topping over 15 million streams on Spotify and charting worldwide. The duo’s subsequent Liftoff Releases, "Stars Come Out" (with RUNAGROUND) and "We Are One" (ft. Kaaze and Danyka Nadeau), also gained traction on Spotify and have collectively brought their catalog of productions into hundreds of millions of streams. Their DF EP gained rotation on SiriusXM BPM and on FM stations nationwide, as their followup single “U Make Me” hit Mediabase’s Dance Top 50 chart and went #1 for 3 consecutive weeks on SiriusXM BPM.

Disco Fries teamed up with Bingo Players and released "Forever Love" ft. Viiq on Hysteria/Spinnin. The song went Top 3 at Billboard Dance-Mixshow, Top 50 at US Pop Radio, and Top 3 at US Dance Radio. Most recently, the Disco Fries 'Another World' album saw Disco Fries once again team up with Bingo Players and VASSY for a #1 dance record in the lead single "Pieces", along with features on tracks from Ferry Corsten, LODATO, Kastra, and many more.

With over 2 million monthly listeners across streaming services, the Fries are always looking to push themselves even further. Their latest venture FinishMyTrack.com capitalizes on what the Disco Fries are most known for, finishing records. Helping both established and up and comers take their songs from 70% to retail ready, the Disco Fries launched the worlds first "finishing house", offering services from additional production to track assessment. In addition, they have teamed up with Sony for a joint publishing venture and invested in e-sports organizations such as FaZe Clan and X-Set and as a result have been featured on Yahoo News and Business Insider.

"We're always looking to explore new sounds and ways to expand our music to new audiences. We want to keep making music that we enjoy sharing with people that enjoy hearing it. The party never ends for us."
