ANNOUNCE FINAL NAMES FOR 2024


THE KILLERS, MÅNESKIN, REMA, TYLA, SEXYY RED, NIA ARCHIVES, ALEC BENJAMIN, 2MANYDJS dj set, CLAUDIA LEÓN, DEAD POSEY, DEPRESIÓN SONORA, LORD HURON, BAR ITALIA, ANDRES CAMPO, PICTURE PARLOUR, SEA GIRLS, NADYE, COMANDANTE TWIN, JULIA SABATÉ, CHOSES SAUVAGES and SLIX.

Undeniably one of the greatest festival acts out there with more hits than you can shake a stick at, THE KILLERS join as headliners on the Saturday lineup. Led by charismatic frontman Brandon Flowers, the band and friend of the festival have proven their worth with every release since their birth at the turn of the millennium.

Italian glam rock phenomenon MÅNESKIN will perform on Friday night, ready to prove why they are being hailed as one of the most exciting and wild live acts of the moment. 

 

Mad Cool embraces the biggest new sounds and musical innovators. On Friday, audiences can enjoy the chart-topping fusion of afrobeat, trap and pop from REMA, whose hit single “Calm Down” has elevated Nigerian music to new heights. On the same day, ALEC BENJAMIN, the young American pop composer who burst onto the scene with “Let me down slowly” will perform a special set. On Saturday, TYLA will take the stage with her captivating contemporary R&B; her recent single “Water” became a viral phenomenon and set her up as one of the most exciting new voices. Wednesday’s entertainment is guaranteed with the performance of SEXYY RED. Backed by collaborations with artists like Drake, SZA and Nicki Minaj, and with a bold and humorous output, her voice has become one of the most prominent in American female rap.

 

When it comes to taking the audience to other worlds - even past eras - it is essential to mention LORD HURON, who create evocative and nostalgic songs. Warm and masterfully executed, the Californian indie folk band will be a perfect fit on Saturday.

The emerging wave of guitar bands will have its say at Mad Cool with performances by bands like PICTURE PARLOUR, SEA GIRLS, the high-voltage rock of DEAD POSEY, and the enigmatic post-punkers BAR ITALIA.

The vibrant Madrid music scene will be represented by the 2000s guitar rock of the Getafe-based band NADYE, and the intimate post-punk of DEPRESIÓN SONORA, a project born in the Vallecas neighborhood that has generated great expectations beyond Spanish borders.


For electronic music enthusiasts, Mad Cool promises to reach its peak with the show of 2MANYDJS dj set, an institution in the genre, and with some of the most exciting names of the present like NIA ARCHIVES, CLAUDIA LEÓN and ANDRES CAMPO.


Additionally, in this new edition, Mad Cool Festival joins The Spanish Wave, presenting three exclusive slots in partnership with different international export offices. This union aims to continue positioning Madrid as a meeting point between national and international talent, being a culture- receptive city that embraces the most innovative, high-profile, and diverse proposals. This year, Dutch Music Export from the Netherlands will present the charismatic JULIA SABATÉ, from Scotland the festival audience will enjoy the energetic and revolutionary live performance of SLIX, presented by Wide Days Showcase Festival and Take The Weight OffMad Cool Festival 2024 will also feature the dance-punk group CHOSES SAUVAGES, presented by Costume Records with the support of SODEC.


A total of 21 artists will join PEARL JAM, DUA LIPA, AVRIL LAVIGNE, BRING ME THE HORIZON, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, GARBAGE, MICHAEL KIWANUKA and many more. The lineup will be completed by the announcement of the winners of “Mad Cool Talent by Vibra Mahou”; and “Mad Cool Dj Talent by Vibra Mahou”
