Initially teased with “Quantum,” “Galaxy Eyes,” and “Transmissions From Planet L (feat. MOONZz),” The Observatory showcases intergalactic bangers combined with layered glossy keys above effervescent beats combined with soothing vocal harmonies. Dreamers Delights invites listeners to experience accelerated momentum dropping into a bass-y transmission with a dancefloor-ready bounce punctuated by funky warbling.
Since 2015, Krafft has created music with both an eye for detail and universal appeal. He has consistently captivated with projects such as the Awake EP [2015], Ethereal Moments [2018], Wandering Souls EP [2019], Atlas EP [2021], and Departure EP [2022]. Of the latter, This Song Is Sick raved, “His music is sonically its own, delivering an experience that’s consistently enjoyable and unique.” He has enraptured audiences at as Coachella, Electric Forest, Lightning In A Bottle, and Camp Bisco in addition to touring with Big Gigantic, Break Science, and Inzo. Applauding his live show, 303 Magazine praised how Dreamers Delight “brought fans into their feels and kept them on their toes.” Among many highlights, “Olives” also surpassed 5.7 million Spotify streams, and “The Journey” eclipsed 4.3 million Spotify streams. Throughout 2021 and into 2023, he carefully crafted The Observatory, reflecting opposite ends of his conceptual and sonic spectrum on the album.
On The Observatory, Reed ends off with, “If you listen to this, I hope you have your own profound and beautiful personal experience,” he leaves off. “I want to encourage you to keep seeing the possibilities of what exists on the small scale and the large scale. It’s been an amazing journey thus far, and I’m excited to keep creating and making music for people.”
