(November 24, 2023) - Coco & Clair Clair return to ring in the holiday season with their latest single "Last Christmas," their take on Wham!'s iconic Christmas song. Produced by Raven Artson, this reimagined version of the 1986 hit is laced with femme candor and Christmas trimmings paired with a trap bass and an 80s snare.
The new single follows the release of SEXY (Deluxe Edition), which includes "The Hills (feat. DEELA)" remixed by George Daniel of the 1975, "Pop Star" reimagined by Chaeyoung from the KPop sensation TWICE, and an Empress Of remix of "Cherub" as well as remixes from Lewis OfMan, Homeshake, Clip, Niko B, and more. Office Magazine proclaimed the deluxe as, "the perfect slice of zeitgeist."
SEXY, Coco & Clair Clair's 13-track debut album, is their most mature project to date, with NPR describing their music as "gorgeous" and Pitchfork proclaiming it as "leagues above everyone around them." The album includes singles " Love Me," which arrived with visuals directed by Germany's Nizan Kasper, and " Cherub," which featured a video edited by Dani Aphrodite. SEXY also includes previous singles " TBTF " and " Pop Star," the latter of which originally dropped in December 2020 and ushered in a fleet of Coco & Clair Clair fans.
