Guardians of the Galaxy land in the desert in time for Festival Season
Welcome to Knowhere, the Guardian of the Galaxy’s favorite place and the must-stop shop on the road to Indio! One part roadside attraction and one part intergalactic haven, this immersive physical destination will offer attendees a range of interactive experiences, including fun photo opps, musical programming and swag.
Just a short 2-minute drive right off the 10 freeway, Guardians of the Galaxy fans will get their first taste of Volume 3 on the way to this weekend’s music festival. Life-size recreations of the colorful spacesuits featured in the film will greet guests before entering Knowhere, a location inspired by the Guardians own homebase. All who enter will leave with exclusive takeaways and pictures. This activation is conceptualized and produced by the LA-based creative agency IHEARTCOMIX.
To accompany folks driving out to the desert and for fans across the globe, K-GOTG Radio, a Guardians-themed station will deliver the perfect soundtrack whatever their destination may be. Featuring music from all three film volumes, listeners can expect 2 hours of music and fun hosted by comedian Greg Barris, that’ll get them rocking (and laughing) all across the galaxy.
