KALI UCHIS’ “TELEPATÍA” REACHES #1 AT LATIN AIRPLAY AND LATIN POP AIRPLAY CHARTS
June 29, 2021— Grammy-winning artist Kali Uchis’ hit song “telepatía” is #1 at Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Latin Pop Airplay charts. The track is taken from her Spanish language album, Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞, out now—listen here.
Most recently, Uchis shared the sin miedo // acoustic EP featuring pared back versions of three tracks from her critically acclaimed album, including “fue major,” “vaya con dios” and the previously released acoustic version of “telepatía.”
Uchis is nominated for three Univision Premios Juventud and two MTV MIAW Awards, which she will also host and perform at on July 13 in Mexico City. In addition, she will headline Calibash 2022 alongside J Balvin, Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, Becky G, Sech and many more—more info here.
“telepatía” has accumulated more than 930 million streams across all platforms to date. Additionally, the track is the longest running Spanish-language song by a solo act on the Billboard Hot 100 this decade and earned Uchis her first #1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs Chart, making her the first female in nearly a decade to top the chart without a featured act. The song also remains on several Spotify Top 200 charts.
