WATCH“KINDLING (FICKLE FLAME)” FEAT. JOHN GRANTToday, Manchester band elbow commence their highly anticipated North American tour. Starting in Boston’s Paradise Club tonight, the band will be playing SOLD-OUT shows across the country this month in New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and three nights in California. To celebrate the tour, the multi-award-winning four-piece will be performing live on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, November 2 (alongside speaking guests Alec Baldwin and Stranger Things cast) and CBS This Morning: Saturday later this month.
Earlier this year, elbow released their seventh studio album “Little Fictions” to widespread critical acclaim. Praised for their “rich, sweeping rock songs about melancholy and love” (Pitchfork) and considered “the best (album) they've made in years,” (The Associated Press), elbow's "Little Fictions" has seen them retain their status as one of the UK’s most respected and successful bands. “Little Fictions” was recorded in Scotland and Manchester and sees the band collaborate with the string players of The Hallé Orchestra, the Hallé Ancoats Community Choir, members of London Contemporary Voices and session drummer Alex Reeves. As with the previous three elbow albums, it was produced by Craig Potter.
