Praise for Franz Ferdinand
"...they return sounding hungry for blood with their twin guitar glam-punk strut."
- Rolling Stone
"...another smart disco party with zingy melodies, arty lyrics and garage-rock guitars."
- USA Today
"Franz Ferdinand are the kings of cool, and the unique sound they've spent years crafting still captures the hearts of a massive crowd, one night after another. Tonight is no exception - the Sodo show was a sold out affair several weeks before the date. With a massive, twenty-four song set spanning every sound and style across their fantastically eclectic discography, Franz Ferdinand tore the roof off." - KEXP
"Given how sporadically the band has toured the U.S., how could I pass up a performance so relatively close to my O.C. base and in such an intimate setting? This evening's audience was apparently thinking along similar lines. So hyped were these fans that chanted, clapped and jumped along to every song, there was hardly a moment that didn't suggest a euphoric release of pent-up love for the Scottish quartet." - OC Register
"But it really is difficult not to like Franz Ferdinand-the band can make even the squarest white male want to get out and dance, while still satisfying the rock-'n'-roller inside who likes angular guitars and pop hooks. They're more fun than anything America has called dance music in the past decade." - Portland Mercury
