"The Manchester, England-reared all-female quartet Pins may be the talk of the indie scene - and look magazine-ready, to boot - but their ascent has been as uncontrived as their fuzzed-out, slightly melancholy sound."-The New York Times

"Citing '90s groups like My Bloody Valentine and Jesus and Mary Chain as influences, the band takes a jangly, straight-ahead approach to alternative rock on "Young Girls" --NPR

" They're just a very good rock band making very good rock music, taking a familiar stew of influences and just nailing the fuck out of them." --Stereogum

"Sonically it's indie-pop edged out with a feeling of questioning melancholy, and just a smidgen of menace, and from the second they hit the screen you wanna be part of their gang"--NOISEY

"Young Girls," a sunny-day indie shuffler that flows perfectly in time for the gentle winds of spring" --FADER

The likes of Haim should take note of how it's done"-Under The Radar (8/10)

Still on the heels of their successful second album Wild Nights, Manchester five-piece PINS have announced the release of a free download single 'Got It Bad', which is available now on the Bella UnionSoundcloud Page. Additionally, they have debuted the video for the track via WonderlandWith this video, PINS stick to their strengths, invoking feelings of a hazy summer night complete with sparklers, cigarettes and a youthful sense of adventure. It was shot in the Northern Quarter and Ancoats districts of the band's hometown by Sarah Jenny Johnson. "The song is wonderfully melancholic but its also, essentially, a love song so I wanted this to reflect in the way it was shot," says the director. "Dipping in and out of focus constantly, blurry lights, handheld camera - almost "drunk" in a way. Drunk in love."

'Got It Bad' is a standout track on Wild Nights. A love song, but in PINS own style, it is a slow-paced, exposed and honest track that showcases lead singer Faith Vern's sultry vocals and the tight musicianship of the band.

Faith says; "This is the song where when we were recording, I said to Dave (Catching) 'can we make it more Velvet Underground?' He said 'sure thing' and that's just what we did. Got It Bad is myfavourite song to play live, it's the only song I have chance to breath and take it all in"
This year has seen a packed touring schedule for the band supporting the likes of Sleater-KinneyDrengeand Wire, as well as celebrated shows with Best Coast, Gang Of Four and Stealing Sheep.
They now have announced a February UK and European headline tour along with their inclusion on SXSW's 2016 official lineup.

PINS earlier this year released their second album Wild Nights, receiving great acclaim across media in the UK and US. The album was recorded in Joshua Tree at Rancho De La Luna with Dave Catching (QOTSA, Eagles of Death Metal) and Hayden Scott, and mixed in New York with Ben Baptie at Atomic Sound NYC (Mark Ronson).

This year has seen a packed out touring schedule for the band.
