OH LAND RETURNS WITH NEW ALBUM WISH BONE DUE LATE SEPTEMBER VIA DAVE SITEK'S FEDERAL PRISM LABEL
Danish alterna-pop chanteuse Oh Land, aka Nanna Øland Fabricius, is gearing up for the release of her highly-anticipated new album Wish Bone. Due out late September, the album will be released via Federal Prism, the new imprint launched by TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek. Featuring her distinctive brand of left-field pop, Wish Bone includes collaborations with Sia and Dave Sitek, among others. SPIN is exclusively streaming a sneak peak from the album, "My Boxer,"
asserting it "a slinky banger, which bobs and weaves with jabbing
percussion, glitch electronics and a dangerously hummable melody."
Wish Bone is the long-awaited follow up to Oh Land's 2011 self-titled album that garnered overwhelming acclaim, with SPIN declaring it one of "20 best pop albums of 2011," and Details praising its "fizzy, danceable electro-pop in the mode of Lykke Li and Florence and the Machine.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for an announcement about Oh Land's upcoming single "Renaissance Girls"!
