The Stepkids "Sweet Salvation" EP

THE STEPKIDS

Release Sweet Salvation EP Today On Stones Throw Records

Premiere Video For “Sweet Salvation”

On Tour Now With Kimbra

THE STEPKIDS released the Sweet Salvation EP today, available both digitally and as a 12” on Stones Throw Records. The EP features three versions of new track “Sweet Salvation” including a remix by YACHT, and new song “Bitter Bug.” The Connecticut trio has been busy finalizing the details for their upcoming second album, due in early 2013. The follow up to their critically praised self-titled 2011 debut will include both “Sweet Salvation” and “Bitter Bug.”

The video for “Sweet Salvation” also premiered today, directed by Jesse Mann--longtime collaborator and co-developer/designer of the band’s much-lauded live light show. The video is a trippy journey through space complete with life-sized puppets courtesy of performance group Big Nazo. Check out the video here: http://youtu.be/N-E3NE6XGQ4

With their enigmatic live shows mixing music with psychedelic visuals, The Stepkids have consistently been noted as a “must-see act” at major festivals. The band is currently on the road playing to sold-out crowds with breakout New Zealand singer Kimbra. See current tour dates below.
