LOS ANGELES, CA - May 30, 2012 - Garbage's first album in seven years, Not Your Kind of People,
is the #1 Alternative Album in the country this week and the #2
independent album. The band debuted at #17 on the Billboard Top 200
Chart last week selling 19,281 digital albums via iTunes where the
album was available exclusively for the week. This week the album
jumped up to #12 on the Top 200 Chart this week scanning over 22,000
units.
Garbage
just wound down a tour of the East Coast and returned to Los Angeles
where they will play a party tonight celebrating the music issue of
Nylon magazine featuring front-woman Shirley Manson on the cover.
