(September 29, 2023) - julie releases "catalogue," their first single of 2023. The song follows last year's double single "pg.4 a picture of three hedges" and "through your window" and arrives on the heels of the band announcing their fall North American tour. Nearly every date on the upcoming tour sold out upon tickets going on sale, prompting changes to larger venues in many markets. The entire run is now sold out and continues the band’s impressive touring history despite not yet having a full length album released.

The band’s forthcoming North American run closes with three homecoming shows in Southern California, where the band will perform at Tyler, The Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival as well as two headlining shows at The Constellation Room in Santa Ana, CA. This fall's North American tour follows the band's European summer festival run that included sold-out headlining shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Berlin. Remaining tickets for julie's North American tour are available HERE.

Listen to "catalogue" above now and stay tuned for more news from julie soon.

ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER RELEASES

NEW ALBUM AGAIN

LISTEN TO AGAIN HERE

AGAIN TOUR KICKS OFF SPRING 2024, FIND TICKETS HERE

Oneohtrix Point Never, AKA Daniel Lopatin, has just achieved a new creative pinnacle with the release of his most expansive work to date, Again. The 13-track album, out today on Warp Recordsfeatures contributions from such wide ranging collaborators as Robert AmesLee RanaldoJim O’RourkeXiu Xiulovelivescrushing, and more. As detailed in an expansive New Yorker feature earlier this week, the album is an imagined collaboration between Lopatin’s current and younger selves, a rumination on what's remembered and what’s forgotten from the perspective of a seasoned artist. Lopatin has been unpacking some of these questions across his weekly music/talk show Cool Protrusions on NTS, where guests including The WeekndYung LeanCaroline PolacheckJim O’RourkeSarah Squirm, and others have called in to share their earliest memories of music and how it helped them chart their creative path.

Earlier this week Lopatin announced his first Again live shows, his first album tour since 2019, to commence Spring 2024 and spanning US, Europe and Asia. The eagerly anticipated live interpretation of Again promises to turn the concept of an OPN performance on its head with the acclaimed multi-disciplinary artist, Freeka Tet on board as a creative director for the show. Their work together was recently showcased in OPN’s latest music video, ‘A Barely Lit Path’. The first calling card from Again, this film was directed by Tet and developed from a treatment by Lopatin and himself. It casts viewers into a dream-state to witness a surprisingly emotional and disastrous turn of events for a pair of anthropomorphized CPR dolls, employees of EMC.

The album’s artwork features an original sculpture by Matias Falkbakken, conceptualized in concert with Lopatin and photographed by Vegard Kleven. Design and packaging was developed by Memory, a newly formed collaboration between Lopatin and Online Ceramics (Elijah Funk & Alix Ross). Additionally a Dolby Atmos mix by Mike Dean is available to stream exclusively on Amazon Music.

Since 2020’s eponymous Magic Oneohtrix Point Never, Lopatin has been in demand in every area of musical culture, serving as musical director for The Weeknd’s 2021 Super Bowl Half-Time performance, composing and performing the music for Chanel’s 2021 Métiers d'art show, and serving as executive producer on The Weeknd’s worldwide #1 charted albumDawn FM. He’s also worked with James BlakeIshmael ButlerCharli XCXKelsey LuIggy Pop and Rosalia, and his production credits include AnohniFKA TwigsDavid ByrneRyuichi SakamotoMoses Sumney, and Nine Inch Nails among many more.
