	March 1, 2022, LOS ANGELES – TOOL’s re-imagined and extended version of their 1992 single “Opiate,” now dubbed “Opiate2,” is streaming now via the various DSPs (listen here). Accompanying the single is a Blu-ray only visual companion, the band’s first music video in 15 years, arriving March 18 (pre-orders are available now). Housed in a 46-page art book with behind-the-scenes and making-of photos, the Blu-ray release also includes interviews and insights from special guests. Visual artist Dominic Hailstone (“Alien: Covenant”, “The Eel”) worked with Jones on the 10-plus minute film. The clip continues TOOL’s knack for merging the aural and visual worlds, creating an all-encompassing experience for the listener that has been a hallmark of the outfit since their inception. Hailstone and Jones also collaborated on the filmed pieces featured on the current Fear Inoculum tour.

	TOOL also recently announced the arrival of Fear Inoculum on vinyl, with the Ultra Deluxe set arriving April 8. The collection features 5 x 180g vinyl discs emblazoned with a unique etching on the album’s B-side, and accompanied by an elaborate pictorial booklet including never-before-seen artwork. Midlake has released their new song, "Noble," today. This latest track from their soon-to-be-released album, For The Sake Of Bethel Woods, is one of the most personal and moving songs from the LP. The song is named after drummer McKenzie Smith’s infant son “Noble” who was born with a rare brain disorder. "When he was born, they were told the life expectancy of most children with his disease was between six months to two years. Nightports announce new album with Tom Herbert and share first single

Nightports are back with the third in their series of collaborative albums - Nightports w/ Tom Herbert follows 2018’s Nightports w/ Matthew Bourne and 2020’s Nightports w/ Betamax. It sees musician-producers Adam Martin and Mark Slater team up with Tom Herbert, who made his name as the bass player in Mercury Music Prize-nominated bands Polar Bear and The Invisible, and has become an in-demand collaborator and session musician, including work with Adele, Lana Del Rey and most recently The Smile. Nightports and Tom Herbert ably demonstrate the versatility of the double bass. It’s an instrument that rarely gets the main focus in an ensemble, but one of the most striking aspects of the album is the emotional resonance in Herbert’s articulate melodic lines.
