The visually captivating clip acts as a focused showcase of Miya's uniquely expressive performance style, just as the song's sparse arrangement perfectly underscores her virtuosic vocal talents. Today, RCA recording artists MISSIO are excited to announce The Loner Tour. After spending much of this year on the road supporting Nothing But Thieves and Blue October, the celebration of their new album LONER continues into 2018 with headlining dates across North America. SKELETONS PART I, released early October, collects remarkable acoustic versions of songs originally featured on MISSIO's acclaimed full-length debut, LONER, available now at all digital music retailers and streaming services. Franz Ferdinand have unveiled the striking new video to "Always Ascending", the first single from their forthcoming album of the same name, out February 9th on Domino. The hypnotically charged video, shot in Paris, was directed by acclaimed French directors AB / CD / CD. Talking about the video, Alex Kapranos said: "We're happy to now be Always Ascending on the screen, with ABCDCD capturing the mood of the song and likenesses of the band in perfect detail. This is pretty much a typical Sunday afternoon round at Franz Ferdinand's flat." The band recently announced their fifth studio album Always Ascending, which was recorded at RAK Studios in London and Motorbass in Paris, with the help of French producer extraordinaire Philippe Zdar (Cassius, Phoenix, The Beastie Boys). Nothing short of a rebirth, the album's 10 songs are a triumphant recasting of the group, bursting with fresh ideas and vigorous sonic experimentation.
