Magic Wands: Los Angeles Dream Pop Duo Release New Single | November UK and European Tour Dates

Magic Wands are a dream pop duo from Los Angeles, California. They are known for their melodic, catchy songs “Black Magic” and “Teenage Love.” Chris and Dexy Valentine create music that centers on their main influence— the love of all things “magic” “love,” and

“dreams". They have recently expanded to a five piece for live. Magic Wands Abracadabra

Tour begins this fall in anticipation of their third album ‘ABRAKADABRA' due out early spring 2018.

Magic Wands have been remixed by The XX and Crystal Fighters (featured #1 in NME) as

well as have toured and shared bills with The Horrors, The Black Keys, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Wombats and The Kills. In 2012 they released their debut album Aloha Moon

& performed live on BBC1 Radio and XFM followed by Jupiter in 2016.

Magic Wands share their new single "Loveline" via The 405, who says the track "transports

Today, Manchester band elbow commence their highly anticipated North American tour. Starting in Boston’s Paradise Club tonight, the band will be playing SOLD-OUT shows across the country this month in New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and three nights in California. To celebrate the tour, the multi-award-winning four-piece will be performing live on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, November 2 (alongside speaking guests Alec Baldwin and Stranger Things cast) and CBS This Morning: Saturday later this month.

Earlier this year, elbow released their seventh studio album “Little Fictions” to widespread critical acclaim. Praised for their “rich, sweeping rock songs about melancholy and love” (Pitchfork) and considered “the best (album) they've made in years,” (The Associated Press), elbow's "Little Fictions" has seen them retain their status as one of the UK’s most respected and successful bands. “Little Fictions” was recorded in Scotland and Manchester and sees the band collaborate with the string players of The Hallé Orchestra, the Hallé Ancoats Community Choir, members of London Contemporary Voices and session drummer Alex Reeves. As with the previous three elbow albums, it was produced by Craig Potter.

“Little Fictions” (Concord Records) is out now.

More than just a mere salute, Celebrating David Bowie keeps Bowie's music alive with musicians who worked closely with him throughout his career and other top musicians greatly influenced by him.

Guitarist Earl Slick worked on landmark Bowie albums such as Diamond Dogs,Young Americans and Reality, among others, and toured extensively with him. SaysSlick: "I'm happy to announce that I am officially joining my longtime DB band mates starting on the February leg of the 'Celebrating David Bowie' tour. So put on your red shoes and I'll see you all then." Vocalist Bernard Fowler is known for his work with The Rolling Stones and other iconic artists. Both Slick and Fowler will join legendary Bowie touring and recording keyboardist, and CdB band leader, Mike Garson--who collaborated with Bowie for longer than any other player--guitarist and previous Bowie band leader Gerry Leonard (A Reality Tour), and Bowie's Let's Dance/Serious Moonlight Tour bassist Carmine Rojas. Between them, they have over 30 years experience of recording, writing and playing live with Bowie.

Also joining the tour will be CdB 2017 standout Fishbone's Angelo Moore and 2017 Grammy nominee Gaby Moreno as well as special guests and other former Bowie band members who will make surprise appearances along the way.

The European leg of the Celebrating David Bowie tour begins in January with a modified band lineup and a new Berlin date on January 19 with tickets on sale Saturday, November 4.

The large rotating ensemble with world class multi-instrumentalists changing song to song will perform a show highlighting elements that influenced Bowie and that in turn Bowie influenced: pop culture experimentation, art, fashion, science and futurism.

They say time flies when you’re having fun, which explains how an extraordinary milestone in the Jagjaguwar family sneaks up on us early next year; this February marks the tenth anniversary of the worldwide release of Bon Iver‘s revered debut, For Emma, Forever Ago. To celebrate, Justin Vernon and his band will perform at BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

This special evening, dubbed FOR EMMA, TEN YEAR, will offer a salute to the songs that introduced Bon Iver to the world a decade ago. Featuring a number of musical guests old and new, the performance is set to mark a singular experience of Bon Iver’s work – a unique presentation of For Emma, Forever Ago’s remarkable sound that continues to captivate listeners to this day.

Additionally, we’ve announced a limited edition reissue of the classic For Emma, Forever Ago on both CD and LP. I OH YOU Records's thrash-party Australian duo DZ Deathrays have announced their new album, Bloody Lovely, with the release of their newest single "Total Meltdown". The album, titled Bloody Lovely, their anticipated follow up to their ARIA Award-winning Black Rat will be released on February 2nd, 2018.

To couple with the release of 'Total Meltdown', the band collaborated with director Guss Mallmann to create an innovative Instagram Story quiz in which viewers must try to guess the lyrics of the song. This was premiered through Spotify US/AU and DZ Deathrays account to a total just of just shy of 1.5 million Instagram followers. Follow @dzdeathraysInstagram story now to see it.

Littering their signature thrash-party attitude all over "Total Meltdown", DZ Deathrays (Shane Parsons on vocals/guitar and Simon Ridley on drums) have produced a song that is rambunctious, loud and undeniably fun. Seeing its first glimmer of light as a riff during pre-production for standalone single "Blood On My Leather" in early 2016, the idea kept popping up according to Parsons:

"It took about 6 attempts at a chorus until we came up with what it is now, which is why the lyrics in the chorus have nothing to do with those in the verse. It's a little disjointed lyrically but it's become a big anthem of the new record and a favourite of ours!"

"Total Meltdown" follows on from "Shred For Summer" , the single that saw the duo smash back into collective consciousness in August this year, and "Bad Influence".

Bloody Lovely is the DZ Deathrays expanded universe: the perfect amalgamation of all that has come before it, but kicking in the afterburners, and shooting into the stratosphere as we all hold on for dear life. Named for a perfectly Australian turn of phrase (favoured by the father of Parsons' girlfriend: "it's brutal and beautiful, and super Aussie", says Shane) it's a fully-formed progression from their first two albums

Bloodstreams (2012) and Black Rat (2014).

With Parsons in Sydney and Ridley in Brisbane, Bloody Lovely came together in bits and pieces last year while the duo toured the US, UK, Europe and locally with festival sets and a tour with label mates Violent Soho. The album was recorded at the beginning of this year again with Burke Reid at The Grove Studios where the duo's last album

Black Rat was born.

So far 2017 has seen DZ conquer the UK, Europe and China on headline tour dates as well as play on a couple of festivals on home soil. The duo have just been announced on the bill for Fluvial, SIM São Paulo and Festival En Órbita in South America.
