"Halsey could write down what was in my refrigerator and somehow make it feel poetic," saysBenny Blanco, who produced the lead single 'Now Or Never'. "She has the ability to make you both smile and cry at the drop of a hat and make it feel effortless all at the same time."

hopeless fountain kingdom unfolds on the road this fall with Halsey's eight-week headline tour, kicking off September 29th with PartyNextDoor and Charli XCX as support. In the meantime, the making of the album was energizing.

"[Halsey] has a strong point of view and she really puts a lot of thought and care into her lyrics," says producer Greg Kurstin." I found writing with her inspiring."

"I had no idea how incredible of a writer [Halsey] was before we met," notes producer Ricky Reed. "She would come in and describe some kind of crazy visual scene for me to soundtrack: 'I am picturing Jimi Hendrix solo-ing in a Roman Cathedral, light pouring through the stained glass, but he's in, like, a Hawaiian shirt.'

"I feed off that kind of crazy inspiration," Reed continues. "So I would build the track off her vision and by the time I was finished she would have the poetry to match. She's brilliant and a living legend to me."

To date, "Now or Never" has amassed over 81 million Spotify streams and 22 million cumulative YouTube/VEVO views and just achieved an RIAA Gold certification. "Eyes Closedfollowed, generating 9.2 million Spotify streams. Meanwhile, "Strangers (feat. Lauren Jauregui)" just began captivating listeners last week and stirred up a groundswell of support from ElleSpinBillboardand more.See below for full tracklisting.
Halsey first stormed the pop culture kingdom in 2015 with her album Badlands, which now has five gold and two platinum singles. Her debut crash-landed at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and earned a platinum-certification in under year. Ladytron's Marnie has released her sophomore album Strange Words And Weird Wars, out now via Disco Piñata and available to buy on iTunes and stream on Spotify.

Marnie's cutting edge sound has gained support from some of the most important tastemakers in the industry with the likes of
Pop Justice premiering first single 'Alphabet Block'Consequence of Sound unveiling the unashamedly melodic Lost Maps culminating in The Line Of best Fit premiering the audio for latest single Electric Youth with the video appearing first on OUT .

The stunning video for Lost Maps premiered on
Playboy is now available to watch on the Marnie YouTube channel.

Comprised of ten pulsating tracks, Strange Words And Weird Wars showcases the most impressive elements of Marnie’s incarnation as a solo artist along with those that made her band, Ladytron, one of the most respected pioneers in electronic music; soul crushing synths are wonderfully accented by hook-laden choruses as Marnie boldly explores up-tempo electro dream-pop.

Marnie's ability to effortlessly play with genres becomes more and more apparent as you work your way through what is such a sonically impressive record. Tracks such as ‘Girls’ expertly draws parallels with some of the most gifted female contemporary electro artists, while introspection comes in the form of the shoegaze-inspired ‘A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night’, giving the air of an unreleased b-side from a cult vampire movie.

After moving back to Glasgow in September 2012, after many years living in London, Marnie continued to write music following the success of her solo project and subsequent album release in 2013. Influenced by life, love, loss, politics and all things 80’s pop, Marnie has created an album that has an intelligence and a depth behind what, on the surface, is a melodic modern pop record. Further support has come from the likes of
The 405FilterBBC Radio Scotland and A.V. Club. Marnie will be supporting the release of the album with a perforce at Oslo in London on June 9th 2017.

“California Numb” combines the earth-shattering vocals and honest verses we’ve come to expect from the 21-year-old London-via-Melbourne singer/songwriter.  Today CLOVES releases the video for “California Numb.”

Directed by Phillip Lopez, the video for “California Numb” was shot on the streets of New York City.  Says CLOVES of the video, "The ‘Better Now’ video focused on representing the bittersweet dynamics of the record using light and space, so for California Numb I really wanted people to understand me more, feel the blunt frustration of ‘California Numb,’ by shooting a simple but bold and blunt video."

CLOVES is currently out on the road with Michael Kiwanuka on a sold out trek around North America (see remaining dates below).

CLOVES released her debut XIII EP in November 2015 to early praise from the media including The 405, Pigeons & Planes, Noisey, i-D and more.  The set showcased her lofty, gripping vocals and honest lyrics and featured the song “Don’t Forget  About Me” which was selected for a pivotal spot in the blockbuster  film “Me Before You,” and also appeared on the soundtrack, introducing her to new fans worldwide.  Since the release of her debut EP CLOVES has hit the road, where she continues to win people over show-by-show.
