ISABEL VAN GELDER RETURNS NEW SINGLE “KISSING YOU AWAY”  NEW EP LOVESICK AVAILABLE OCTOBER 16

Isabel van Gelder has been keeping listeners busy lately. Following “I Don’t Want To Fall In Love Again”  and “Complicated”,  the Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter returns with “Kissing You Away.“ The single is the latest preview of her upcoming EP, Lovesick, out October 16.   “Kissing You Away” finds Isabel taking a playful approach to heartbreak. Still reeling from being let down by a lover, she decides that instead of dwelling, she’d rather go out and have a little fun and take back control. She isn’t looking for another relationship just a temporary escape, someone to help take her mind off the person she still can’t quite let go of. The result is a cheeky, bittersweet track that balances vulnerability with a confident carefree attitude. The single continues to showcase Isabel’s distinctive sound while highlighting the personality and storytelling that have become central to her music. The single leads into her upcoming EP Lovesick, which explores different facets of romantic love, from longing and rejection to heartbreak, escapism, emotional distance and letting go, bringing together introspective ballads with more playful, tongue-in-cheek moments. Lovesick arrives at an exciting point in Isabel’s career. Her first EP, Minor Details, released earlier this year and featuring “Die for you” and “My Silly Boy”, has already surpassed 20 million streams on Spotify, while Isabel’s Instagram following has grown to more than one million.
