Today, UK genre-blurring outfit Loathe — a band that moves seamlessly between crushing heaviness and atmosphere, folding shoegaze, prog metal, electronics, and massive breakdowns into something entirely their own — release their incredibly anticipated third album, A Stranger To You, via SharpTone Records. The album features Jordan Rakei, Static Dress, Mansur Brown, NOWHERE2RUN, and bucki sugar, and produced the band's Erik Bickerstaffe, Feisal El-Khazragi and Sean Radcliffe with mixing from Erik Bickerstaffe and Feisal El-Khazragi. |

A Stranger To You arrives in the wake of the exponential growth the band has experienced in the six years since their now cult-classic sophomore album, I Let It In And It Took Everything — years defined by relentless touring, rapid global growth, and a fanbase that continued to expand at a remarkable pace even in the absence of new music, culminating in a fully sold-out 2025 U.S. tour that moved over 30,000 tickets. As brutal and urgent as it is light and considered, the album is the culmination of six years of personal and collective growth, both in the music and in the band themselves — a magnum opus that spans a breadth of eclectic sounds and techniques. |
Loathe kick off a run of summer dates before the fall tour fully sets in, starting with Lollapalooza and select support dates with Interpol before rounding out the summer run at Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville on 9/18. The band will then embark on their largest US tour yet this fall in direct support of the album, with a stellar support lineup including Fleshwater and Prostitute. The 19-date headline run kicks off September 19th in Royal Oak, MI and runs through mid-October, closing out on the West Coast in San Francisco on 10/13. Many dates including Silver Spring, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Austin, Charlotte, Orlando, St. Petersburg, Las Vegas, Tucson, are already SOLD OUT — with their Los Angeles Hollywood Palladium show selling out the day of public on sale.
