San José, Costa Rica-based six-piece Las Robertas will release their new LP, All We Need Is Now, on June 26th via Kanine Records, and on Spinda Records in Spain. The band offered a first taste of the album with lead single "Everything I Wanted To Be," and today, they share a video for the title track. Produced, shot, and directed by Madrid-based artist Juan Alvarez Santos (aka Arma Blancx), it's a vibrant and joy-filled tribute to the handycam-shot videos of the '90s, and gives a nod to Las Robertas' favorite Rolling Stones album, The Satanic Majesties Request. The band's first new album in three years, All We Need Is Now is a hazy, sun-tinged celebration of their home country, with elements of both '60s psychedelia and the '90s alt-rock and shoegaze scenes. Drawing influence from bands like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Lush, Ride, and Chapterhouse — who Las Robertas shared a stage with earlier this year — it features nine tracks of lush, dreamy psych rock that explore themes of overcoming fear, living in the present, and evolving on a personal and spiritual level. Having toured extensively and performed at festivals like Coachella, Levitation, Primavera Sound, and NRMAL, Las Robertas will be touring Europe and Latin America later this year in support of their new release.
