Cigarettes After Sex today have shared their bright, upbeat new single "Twizzler." Out now via Partisan Records, the track premiered yesterday via KROQ and follows 2025 single "Anna Karenina," which also saw a
physical 7" release earlier this year. "Twizzler" marks a continuation of the exciting year the band has had–just last month, Greg Gonzalez performed an unreleased track with Latin superstar Karol G at Coachella 2026

Recently,
Cigarettes After Sex cracked the top 200 of most listened to artists on Spotify, with the band having just under 30 million monthly listeners on the platform. Their track "Apocalypse" became one of just under 200 songs in history to surpass 2 billion streams on Spotify.
“Cry,” “Sunsetz,” and
“K.,” - also each surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify all within a stretch of just five days. They are now also one of only 11 bands in history (joining the likes of Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, Queen) to have four or more songs with over one billion streams.
“Apocalypse” is taken from Cigarettes After Sex’s self-titled 2017 debut album, which has sold over 2 million copies and is certified platinum in the US, gold in the UK, and double platinum in France and Poland. That album is currently the 128th most-streamed album ever on Spotify. Cigarettes After Sex’s 2019 album,
Cry, is certified gold in the US, France and Poland. The band has sold 3.2 million records in the U.S. across 3 studio albums.
Cigarettes After Sex sold upwards of 750k tickets around the globe during their
X's tour, including sold out shows at Madison Square Garden, the O2 Arena, the Kia Forum in LA, and arenas across Asia.
