Tom Misch releases the final single, “Days Of Us” from his forthcoming sophomore album Full Circle which is coming out on the 27th March via Beyond The Groove / AWAL Recordings[pre-order the album here]. Tom has also announced a short run of outstore shows which all sold out immediately scheduled for around the release of Full Circle, including a show at Brighton’s Chalk and two shows at Kingston’s Circuit. Tickets will be available to fans who purchase the album.

“Days Of Us” opens with a stunning arpeggiated saxophone motif from Kaidi Akinnibi, the album’s sole featured artist, setting a tone that feels like the tide rolling gently in and out. There’s a natural ebb and flow to the arrangement, as sweeping violin lines intertwine with the delicate textures of the guitar, which offers a series of luminous licks in the closing moments. This single sees one of Tom’s most unadorned and pure vocal performances, allowing the emotion of the song to shine through. Warm, layered and richly textured, “Days Of Us” carries a quiet sense of hope, serving as a beautiful and poignant conclusion to the record.

Of the song Tom adds, “Days Of Us" is actually a track I made a long time before the rest of Full Circle, this must have been made in 2021. I was at a session at Unwound Studios in Deptford, Kaidi came round and started playing this arpeggiated sax part and I started singing this melody and it evolved into this song. I wrote it with Carmody and I like it because it feels very texturally unique, I haven’t really heard a voice over this arpeggiated sax part, it’s quite special”

Across Full Circle, Tom has deliberately moved away from production-led music-making, stepping out of Logic Pro to focus on classic song writing that works when played on piano or guitar, or expanded with a full band. That shift toward songcraft, rather than studio technique, became the defining starting point for the album. Tom worked closely with artist and songwriter Matt Maltese, who co-wrote a number of songs on the record, alongside Ian Fitchuk, who developed much of the material in Nashville, and Adam Jaffrey, a key collaborator during the album’s earliest stages. Tom used a vintage U47 microphone throughout, allowing his vocals to be forward and full body. While much of the album was run to tape with a clear intention to achieve specific sounds inspired by the warmth and clarity of ’70s hi-fi records. Sonically and creatively, the project draws from the songwriting and textures of artists like Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, John Martyn, and John Taylor balancing classic fidelity with an intimate, understated feel. There was also a commitment throughout to capturing live takes, minimising comping, and preserving the raw spontaneity of performance. Quiet, double-tracked vocals and low-fi touches nod to J.J. Cale’s subtle approach, all in service of something classic and alive in the moment.

Ahead of the release of
Full Circle, Tom has shared a run of standalone singles that hint at the album’s breadth. “Sisters With Me,” named Radio 1’s Hottest Record, showcases his ambition for a more expansive sound, while “Slow Tonight” reveals a lighter touch. “Old Man,” built around guitar and voice, reflects on family and the existential weight of aging, themes that echo throughout the record. By contrast, “Red Moon” leans into a deeper groove, drawing on the warmth and physicality of 60s and 70s classics that have shaped a lot of the album's sound. Full Circle stands as both a reflection of his journey and a statement of ongoing evolution, honouring his past while pointing toward new directions in an ever-unfolding creative story.

When Tom stepped away from the studio and performing, he sought reconnection, finding it through surfing and spending long stretches of time in nature with friends and family. When he returned to making music, it was without pressure or expectation, working with a close circle of friends and new collaborators and focusing on songs that tell the truth. Alongside Joel Culpepper, Tom has also been travelling to cities and towns across the country, appearing unannounced at open mic nights as a way of gently easing himself back into performing live

Following the announcement of two intimate shows at
KOKO on 1st and 2nd April, which swiftly sold out, Tom has also revealed a run of global Full Circle listening parties across: London, New York, Australia, Mexico City, Berlin, Japan and more. He also recently announced a limited-edition Blood Records pressing of the album, which sold out immediately.
