New York, NY (February 4, 2026) Hip hop icons Public Enemy deliver a bold and timely reimagining of their iconic track “He Got Game” on February 4, transforming it into “She Got Game,” a powerful anthem celebrating women in sports and music. The track will be released February 4, National Girls and Women in Sports Day, with proceeds benefiting the Women’s Sports Foundation and the Black Music Action Coalition’s Female Fund. Stream “She Got Game” HERE.

“She Got Game” features an all-star female band including basketball star and rapper Flau’Jae, bass phenom Blu DeTiger, Cindy Blackman Santana on drums, Olympic medalist Elizabeth Beisel on strings and breakout guitar sensation Grace Bowers, with additional vocals by Retina MC and the USA Olympic Women’s Water Polo team. The track begins with excerpts from Gloria Steinem’s powerful Address to the Women of America speech. The song fuses culture, activism and music, heralding the women who continue to redefine excellence on and off the field.

Originally recorded for Spike Lee’s 1998 film “He Got Game” starring Denzel Washington, the song’s rebirth was inspired by Flavor Flav’s sponsorship of the U.S. Women’s Olympic Water Polo Team in 2024 and his outspoken, hands-on support of women athletes. A viral  and celebrated presence during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Flavor Flav is set to continue his advocacy as an official sponsor and official hype man for the USA Bobsled & Skeleton teams at the 2026 Olympic Games in Milano-Cortina. What began as his heartfelt enthusiasm has unexpectedly shown measurable impact: scientific performance data conducted by Acura recently revealed that Olympic Bobsled athlete, Kaysha Love, performed nearly 10% better during practice runs when Flavor Flav was present.

Since forming in 1985, Public Enemy has remained fearless pioneers of politically and socially charged hip-hop. Their accolades include induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (2013) and the GRAMMY® Lifetime Achievement Award (2020). The New York Times named their work among the “25 Most Significant Albums of the Last Century,” while the Library of Congress added “Fear of a Black Planet” to the National Recording Registry. Multiple Public Enemy releases have earned spots on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums and Songs of All Time, including “It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back,” “Fear of a Black Planet” and the GRAMMY Hall of Fame-inducted anthem “Fight the Power,” ranked #2 on Rolling Stone’s 2021 list. Their music has powered global moments, including theme songs for the London 2012 Paralympic Games and the ESPY Awards, and their legacy has been honored in exhibits at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, The GRAMMY Museum and the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC.
