For her first release of 2026, the Canadian producer and vocalist layers a dark inner monologue, conveyed through powerful yet gentle alto vocals, against a bold industrial electronic track with pulsating basses and intricate techno details. But by the second chorus, she introduces brighter production elements and sings in her upper register, allowing listeners to ponder along with her where “home” truly is.   “It’s me coming home to myself — to the girl in the kitchen who used to hit record on her laptop and dream of dance floors she hadn’t stepped on yet. It’s nostalgia wrapped in cinematic synths, the sound that first pulled me into electronic music. I recorded raw textures in my own house so the record feels lived-in, human, imperfect in all the right ways.
