Produced by Philip Weinrobe (Adrianne Lenker, Billie Marten, Cass McCombs),‘The Closest We’ll Get’ EP showcases an organic new sound developed during recording sessions out in Brooklyn, NY.   Drawing on Nell’s folk influences and Weinrobe’s unconventional production style, the EP delivers a raw, natural, and authentic body of work. Through six soul-bearing tracks, there’s dismal prospects, and levity too: the full gamut of what it feels like to fall in love with someone, experience it, and have to kid yourself that you’re fine about the crushing fallout.   “See You Again was written about leaving the house of someone you are seeing, and promising yourself and all your friends you won’t ever go back” explains Nell of the new single. “..and then almost ritualistically returning and ignoring every bit of advice you receive, because you can’t picture a life without the other person”.   Listen To ‘See You Again’ Here.    With praise from the likes of i-D, The New York Times, Vogue, NME, Radio 1 and a nomination at the Rolling Stone UK Awards, Nell has been making waves with every new release since her 2024 debut EP, ‘Can I Miss It For A Minute?’.   Her relentless live presence has made her a genuine force on the circuit too.This year has already seen Nell sell out her debut US shows, take the stage at Latitude, All Points East, and Electric Picnic, and draw packed crowds at Reading and Leeds Festivals.   The summer’s momentum now builds toward her biggest headline tour to date, launching in early November. Joined by her band for the full 12-date run, Nell will showcase new tracks from her latest EP alongside fan favourites, with stops across the UK and Ireland, including Dublin’s Button Factory and London’s Islington Assembly Hall.
