Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Leif Vollebekk sees his song “Moondog” surge after a sync placement in the new Netflix series Untamed, climbing to #15 on the the U.S. Shazam chart (#35 worldwide). "Moondog" is now at 4+ million streams.

After selling-out his largest Australian tour to-date this past May and just back from some European dates supporting Jacob Collier and his own Europe headline tour where he sold out the Caprera Open Air Theatre in the Netherlands, this August will see Vollebekk touring with Mumford & Sons on their 2025 Railroad Revival Tour and supporting Gregory Alan Isakov on his dates at Red Rocks. In October, he's been invited to play in “The Prine Family Presents: You Got Gold” John Prine tribute show at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on Friday, October 10.

Today, Vollebekk also announces his next U.S. headline tour for November 2025, hitting his biggest U.S. venues to date, including Webster Hall in New York City and The Bellwether in Los Angeles. Tickets can be purchased HERE on Friday, August 1st at 10AM local time.

In early 2026, Leif is confirmed to perform at Noah Kahan's Out Of The Blue festival.

Vollebekk has 3x previous hit singles with a combined 120+ million streams and the new album, Revelation, continues to be raved by critics and fans alike since its release, including garnering a JUNO nomination this year. This album campaign has seen Vollebekk headline his largest UK/EU tour of his career, including headline play at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London w/on-stage guests Birdy and James Bay, and has also seen him support Fred Again.. for 3 shows at Frost Amp in San Francisco and support James Bay across dates throughout the UK, Scotland and Ireland.

Recorded at both Sunset Sound in Los Angeles and Dreamland in Woodstock, New York,Revelation is both ethereal and grounded, evoking a deep sense of introspection. The 11 tracks on Vollebekk’s Revelation blend narrative lyrics with one-take lead vocal performances, cinematic arrangements, rich soundscapes, and lush orchestration. Vollebekk's songwriting for this album was influenced by an exploration that began with Carl Jung’s I Ching and ventured into the ideas of alchemy and the unknown. The result is organic and earthy, with themes of nature—water, stars, mortality—woven into a reflection on living in a constantly changing present, infused with existential doubt and the quest for meaning.

Moondog” offers firm proof of this juxtaposition with its “meditation on love,” fateful meetings, family, and magic, with a lyrical nod to “tessellation” (a pattern of geographic shapes covering a surface). “Was that the wind howling through the trees/Or was that you/Calling to me?”

An artist’s artist with many colleagues as admirers, Vollebekk – who self-produced and played piano, guitar, bass, B3 organ, harmonica, accordion and Moog synthesizer on Revelation – compiled an impressive supporting cast that speaks to the caliber of musicianship and feel of the recordings, including legendary drummer Jim Keltner, notable steel guitarist Cindy Cashdollar (Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Rod Stewart), and revered bassist Shahzad Ismaily. His other album collaborators included artists Angie McMahon and Anaïs Mitchell on background vocals. The album was mixed by Tchad Blake (Tom Waits, Arctic Monkeys, Tracy Chapman) and mastered by Greg Calbi
