Austin, TX based band Porcelain today have shared their driving, dynamic new single "Harmony" via TODO Records. Their debut release for TODO, the track is one of two songs from their upcoming 7" “Harmony” b/w “Torch,” which is out/available for purchase on July 9th. The quartet will be going on tour with Pelican this summer, including dates at Brooklyn, NY's The Meadows (7/20) and Chicago, IL's Thalia Hall (7/26).
“Harmony is a song about loss and how we cope with it," the band explains. "You tend to lose people more the older you get, and how we process that grief gets more important each time. Giving the space to reflect on how we feel in those moments is healthy and often gets overlooked."
Composed of Steve Pike (vocals/guitar), Ryan Fitzgibbon (vocals/guitar), Jordan Emmert (bass), and Eli Deitz (drums), the members of Porcelain cut their teeth in the Austin, TX DIY scene. Since their formation in 2022, the band has been touring steadily, earning a reputation for their cathartic live show–they've played with the likes of Chat Pile, Agriculture, Portrayal of Guilt, The Blood Brothers, Trauma Ray, and many others. "Harmony" follows their 2024 self-titled album, which was released through Portrayal of Guilt Records and earned support from the Austin Chronicle, +rcmndedlisten, The Alternative, Post-Trash, and more.
