As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, Mon Rovîa is partnering with the nonprofit To Write Love On Her Arms, an organization dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with mental health. A portion of the proceeds from “Oh Wide World” will be donated to the organization in support of its mission to connect people to the resources they need and remind them they are not alone.
Originally from Liberia and now based in Tennessee, Mon's unique sound blends cultural influences and modern folk tradition. Recognized as one of Spotify’s 2024 Juniper Artists to Watch, Mon Rovîa continues to captivate audiences across the globe. He has sold out every headline show to date and has graced the stages of major festivals including Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and the Newport Folk Festival. He toured with Gregory Alan Isakov, and previously supported Josiah and the Bonnevilles, bringing his evocative live performances to an ever-growing fan base.
His international presence is expanding, with a highly anticipated sold-out European tour scheduled for May 2025. Back in the U.S., he’s slated for key appearances at Zootown Missoula, Boston Calling, and a return to Newport Folk Festival in 2025—solidifying his reputation as one of the most compelling and original voices in contemporary folk and indie music.
