Grammy-winning, RIAA Platinum-certified R&B singer/songwriter Sabrina Claudio returns with her captivating new single, “Before It’s Too Late,” out now via EMPIRE. Alongside the track, Sabrina shares a stunning new music video that continues the romantic storyline from her recently released single, “Need You To Need Me.

“Before It’s Too Late” is a soulful R&B ballad that highlights the importance of loving with intention. With dreamy, atmospheric production, Claudio’s breathy, ethereal vocals carry emotional depth, blending vulnerability and longing into every note. The track is a heartfelt reminder to slow down, be present, and cherish simple moments with loved ones, like a quiet drive down the PCH or watching a partner’s silhouette at sunrise.

The music video captures this sentiment perfectly. Opening with Sabrina awakening from a bad dream, the visual follows her as she escapes to a romantic getaway with her partner. Through intimate, visually striking scenes, the video becomes a tribute to the quiet, meaningful moments in a relationship that sometimes leave the deepest impact.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the single, Sabrina shares,"‘Before It’s Too Late’ is intended to encourage listeners to verbalize their thoughts and/or make an effort to make their love for one another visibly apparent. Before it’s too late to do so, before love is lost, before what’s done can’t be undone, before there is no time left. As someone who deeply struggles with expressing emotions, I only realized by the end of it all that I wrote this as a reminder to myself to love loudly and intentionally.”

Maddie Regent Unveils "Miss Virgo" | Debut Album 'On the phone with my mom' Out May 16

MADDIE REGENT UNVEILS "MISS VIRGO" AHEAD OF DEBUT ALBUM ON THE PHONE WITH MY MOM, OUT MAY 16

Indie-pop singer and songwriter Maddie Regent unveils "Miss Virgo," the final pre-release single from her highly anticipated debut album, On the phone with my mom, out May 16th. Alongside the single, she is also revealing the album’s full 14-song tracklist.

A hypnotic blend of raw emotion and sonic exploration, "Miss Virgo" showcases Maddie’s mesmerizing vocals floating over a cinematic, dreamlike soundscape. It's ethereal yet weighty, intimate yet expansive, with thoughtfully layered production that enhances her raw songwriting.

One of the album’s most sonically adventurous tracks, "Miss Virgo" is also one of Maddie’s most deeply personal songs to date. The song unpacks her struggles with body image and the formative time she spent in a recovery center at the age of 17, healing from an eating disorder — a chapter marked by both pain and profound connection.

At its heart, the song is a tribute to the unlikely sisterhood she found there. "At first, I just wanted to go home, but I couldn’t. So for a while, my world became that little cabin in the woods, and my family became this group of fiercely strong girls from every walk of life," she shares. "We bonded over our mutual distrust of the nurses, our collective crush on the one male specialist, crocheting, and watching Pretty Little Liars. Although every day I was there I didn’t want to be there, I really do have fond memories from that place, mostly because of the people I met.

Originally hailing from Toronto and now living in New York City, Maddie Regent discovered songwriting as a form of catharsis at just 12 years old, using music as a powerful tool to navigate her anxieties and give voice to her innermost thoughts. Since her debut in 2021, she has released two beloved EPs,
MISS REGENT and Girl of Your Dreams, and has earned recognition from tastemakers like Atwood Magazine and EARMILK.

Working closely with her partner, producer and songwriter Cade Hoppe, Maddie has meticulously honed her craft, creating a sound that seamlessly marries infectious pop hooks with raw, unfiltered storytelling. As the release of On the phone with my mom approaches, 2025 is shaping up to be a defining year for Maddie Regent—one that cements her as an indie-pop artist to watch.

JakoJako Shares New Track "Dragon Bridge" || New Album 'Tết 41' Out 4/25 On Mute

JAKOJAKO SHARES NEW TRACK
“DRAGON BRIDGE”

NEW ALBUM TẾT 41 OUT 4/25 ON MUTE

Berlin-based modular synthesist JakoJako (aka Sibel Koçer) has shared a new track “Dragon Bridge” from her forthcoming album, Tết 41, out on limited edition vinyl and digitally on April 25, 2025 via Mute.

Named after the longest suspension bridge in Vietnam, Cầu Rồng, a 666m long structure which was designed to breathe fire and water every weekend, the track’s playful atmospherics were inspired by Koçer’s first journey to Vietnam and her very personal reflections on the country.

Listen to “Dragon Bridge” HERE.

Talking about the track, Koçer explains, “I wrote this track in Da Nang on the day the Dragon Bridge spit fire, it was pretty spectacular and special for the people there and us, especially as we were there in 2024, the year of the dragon. After watching, we went home, and I wrote that tune.”

Tết 41 is, in many ways, a distillation of ideas Koçer has been exploring for many years. Tapping into a deep understanding of machine-based music and illuminated by references to her heritage, Tết 41 reflects on notions of rebirth and the pursuit of a sonic core. The album was created with a minimal hardware set up and from this simplicity emerges some of her most expansive, unworldly compositions to date.

Koçer explains, “I wanted to collect the atmospheres of Vietnam, and strip it back to my language - electronic music. I don’t have huge ties to the traditions of my Vietnamese family, so being able to experience them with my mother and then bring the Lunar Celebration - the colorful flowers, food and customs - back to Europe through music has helped me realize how important this side of my heritage is.”

A big part of her production process lies in searching for spontaneity, which was heightened during the creation of this album, on just a Eurorack and a Waldorf Iridium Core. While normally she would have a computer to mix and arrange the record, the effects and sequencers of the gear became her tools. She expands: “The more you play with a single machine the more you get to know it. You’ll get muscle memory and play it more like an actual instrument, instead of treating it as a tool.”

Opening and closing with field recordings taken during the Lunar New Year celebrations, she uses the space in between to cast new frameworks, allowing melodic cycles to flow autonomously. Rhythmic fragments weave between analogue processing and harmonic distillations, swirling in organic cycles of warehouse maximalism and sonic minutiae that speak to the somatic and spectral in equal measure.

Engaged in a constant dialogue around the use of hardware in music, JakoJako’s artistic output is informed by the tension and release of techno, but ultimately propelled by ever-expanding forms and structures that play with the contours of the genre. A producer, live artist and DJ who has held a residency at Berghain while touring some of the world’s most respected electronic music institutions, she delves into the mathematical patterns of arpeggios and loops, locating kinetic energies that convert into moments of dancefloor catharsis.

Infinitely curious about the threads that connect different genres, as opposed to the rigidity of genre itself, Tết 41 is driven by a desire to document the potentials of analogue and modular synthesis, and to consider new contexts within which these could exist. It’s also a bold and generous vision of new sonic worlds.

JakoJako’s Tết 41 is out on Mute on limited edition vinyl and digitally on April 25, 2025.
