(March 28, 2025) - Toronto’s rising star BAMBII shares her first offering of music this year with new single “BAD BOY”. The breakneck pace of the new track characterizes the last year for BAMBII and signals she’s not slowing down anytime soon. Alongside the new single, BAMBII is sharing the song’s accompanying music video that she directed and stars in.
She’s coming off a 2024 in which she won a JUNO for Best Electronic album for her debut EP Infinity Club, was named on the shortlist for the Polaris Prize and played electric live sets across the globe. She began 2025 with several sets opening for Jamie xx on tour and next month, BAMBII will make her Coachella debut with a weekend one set at the Do LaB stage, followed by a performance at London’s All Points East festival this Summer.
“BAD BOY” is the first taste of BAMBII’s forthcoming project, the expansive followup to Infinity Club, which cemented her as one of electronic music's most prominent new voices. Her debut was widely lauded by the likes of Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, 032c, Resident Advisor and more. More recently, she graced the cover of DJ Mag, where she spoke about how her approach to her forthcoming project differs from the insular cohesion of Infinity Club, explaining “the dissonance between tracks is going to feel more like they’re oceans apart.”
